Oh, and if you were wondering, the only reason i remember it didn't do as well was because someone did one those youtube videos where they put captions on the screen, and Bischoff talked about how successful the X division ppv was and they put a note up about it.

But again, TNA isn't a ppv company, ppvs exsist to advertise for TV matches, so you should just hope they do more with him on TV.
xactly, why i said "hell, even a ppv"

i looked it up real quick on gerweck.net and it says 8K which is the same as final resolution and more than hard justice of the same year, so while it's one of the 3 lowest of the year(listed) their lowest and highest buyrates aren't that far apart, which leads back to who gives a shit really.
Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order

Hogan, because he can say it was one of their lowest ppvs of the year and it's because people don't care about the little flippy guys.

he's not dominate like joe though, and he's held onto the title by cheating a lot of times. he can drop the title and remain in the division or go after TV title and come back to the division and win the title again a few times. the HW title scene is fine w/o him. i'm a big fan of the guy since his austin starr days but think he should be a staple in the X-division for years to come, instead of worrying about elevating him(or anybody else who has a great title reign), elevate the division. bring back the world, super, and or america's X cup, do another X Division Showcase tournament for a contract, let the X-title main event impact once in awhile or hell even a PPV.
I liked Spanky, too. I don't know how many other people did, but he was good.

I think that TNA should be concerned with building actual stars, regardless of the division. Aries is on that path, but there's not a endless supply of X-Division wrestlers for him to have interesting feuds with. Once he and Ion are done, they could probably get a match out of a returning Chris Sabin (if Shelley got one, so can Sabin before they do the Machine Guns again), but then they're going to have to start in on the Daniels/AJ/Kaz group or it'll be step down for Aries. Does anyone want to see what Tony Neese can do against Aries?

The TV title thing could work, too. That would open up who he could wrestle, which I think is going to be the key before too long.

    http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/2515...ing-appearance

According to TMZ.com, "Repo Games" star Josh Lewis will be making an appearance for TNA Wrestling in the near future. The report notes:

TMZ has learned ... the Spike TV host and real life repo man has struck a deal to get in the ring with TNA wrestling in the very near future.

It's unclear if Josh will actually wrestle a match ... but we're told things will "definitely get physical."

We're told Josh is a life-long wrestling fanatic and REEAALLLY wants to make the wrestling thing a full time gig down the line.

Sometimes I pick up the DVD packs a few months down the line, but TNA hasn't had me even considering paying for one of their PPVs in quite a while.
