Brock looks small to me there. Or he just looks young.
Looking at the date, thats looks like before the match bobcore sandbaged on him.
I forgot about the Brock lock.

Btw, i will continue to love the Abyss angle, but will declare it the best ever if the lawyer wrestles a fat guy in an abyss match.
Because honestly, it wouldn't take much to get a fake abyss, and they should totaly do it.

The actual finish of the match? Nah, no problems there.
i wouldn't go that far, the build wasn't great but he earned a title shot by winning a #1 contenders match, it wasn't just given to him.

Just imagine Abyss walking into a big and tall store. Scars, tats, mask, ripped up shirt. "I need a suit!" The tailor would probably shit himself.

He just needs a goatee and its a pretty good likeness.

I had to watch that multiple times, that was an oh shit moment.
That was a hell of a match. From the chest slap battle to AA's bump of the top, to Bully's one man 3D, and AA hitting the brainbuster. And then pulling off the submission.
One thing I would have changed is during the lead up, was to cost AA the title. Giving AA more motivation, and gives the x division someone else to run with the belt. As clay said above.

Plus he didnt get his ass kicked for the entire match, then pull off a last second cheat win. I like that even though he does cheat, he can go if he needs to.

Before he cut his hair he looked more like him.

I didnt even mind Joe/Magnus losing the belts. It opens up a feud with Danels/Kaz. And they still looked good.
and it even goes back to his path to the title. he proved how good he was, the way he came up short at BFG and then the way storm won the title made for a logical heel turn/character development(even though everybody shit on it at the time). bobby doesn't cheat because he has to, he cheats because he's bitter.
Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order

We noted earlier that Scott Steiner was accusing Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff of having their lawyers contact him about the recent war of words they have had on Twitter. Hogan says those were TNA's lawyers that contacted Steiner. Hogan wrote on Twitter:

"Tried to be cool, not only a clown but also a liar.those weren't my lawyers they were TNA lawyers.well I guess it's time to call my guys in,"

"I really hope he saved his money or is making tons from the independents he's working because it's gonna get expensive, maby he's smart enough to at least figure it out when it starts getting real, what a shame, what a waste of a great talent, but u can't tell an idiot their an Idiot. It's really sad when you really thought someone was really cool. HH"

What are the lawyers going to do, sue him for calling hogan stupid and his daughter untalented?
Better get them to work on the internet.

It's only slanderous if it's not true. I'd welcome any trial that involved the Hulkster trying to get into MENSA and his daughter juggling plates to demonstrate having a talent.

Or him trying to prove TNA is in better shape since he came to work there.
I can't recall anything steiner said that wasn't either totaly opinion based, or outright true.
I think he might have called him gay though, Hogan sued his wife for that one didn't he?

What makes this even more amusing is how the Tweets is starting to get to Hogan. Logic wise he could have ignored him and let Steiner ramble on

Its almost a cliche that after a heel turn, you completely forget how to win without cheating. Anybody that's watched the show, knows Roode can go. The BFG series last summer showed that.

Oh he does, just saying that Hogan responding just makes Steiner the victor in this.

    And makes Hogan look silly.

You would think that He would have learned his lesson about saying stupid shit on twitter.
It would have been better if he just ignored him.

What I've been saying all along. Responding to Steiner's Tweets only just encourage him to post more
