Yeah, come here, lose all the time and then catapult your way to the top using an end-around!

As opposed to having all the skill and hard work you've put in showcased at the pinnacle of the job you love.

And I must ask, do any of you realize that my initial disappointment with this is that it didn't happen at Wrestlemania? Saying that I'm biased against Bryan is kinda ridiculous when you consider that I have no issue with him getting the belt, in fact one of my recent posts called for him to get it so he could feud with Ziggler, but with the way he went about it?

like legato said, you can have your opinion but its not gonna change mine. you can pissy about it because of the morality (honestly, morality in wrestling?) but its not gonna kill my high on this.

two guys, from another company, who no one had any faith in when they came in, are standing over the E as champs.

If you are not biased against Danielson then why choose his cash in as a way to question the logic in WWE storytelling since their storytelling is about as messed up as TNA's? Is it because you want to rain on the parade of those that enjoy Danielson's win?

We can make a long case for many who fit that and either went nowhere or never got past that IC/US belt glass ceiling

Then you have to extend the Ziggler/Ryder feud as well as Henry/Show feud and you can make a case for people already getting tired of one of those or both

And that right there is the crux of the whole thing. At the end of the day, your enjoyment of the story being told is your own, and if the mere fact that the two guys you prefer ended up on top is enough, then more joy and power to you.

Me? I'm holding out for guys who back up their words.
I don't have a problem with Cena retaliating. The scenario I gave regarding him was one where he was not in any physical danger but yet he reacted in a manner in which he preaches others not to do. To be fair, I don't think any wrestler should get on their soapbox about bullying others because they're all guilty of such an act in the name of "entertainment".

In regards to CM Punk, I don't recall him ever saying he was never ever coming back to the WWE therefore I don't see how him coming back makes him hypocritical. In regards to Danielson, he earned his Money in the Bank therefore he gets to cash it in whenever he wants to. Key words, "whenever he wants to", so I don't see how him cashing it in when he wanted to makes him hypocritical when that was how it was supposed to be to begin with. As far as holding out for guys who back up their words, I think Zach Ryder, Cody Rhodes, Brian Danielson and CM Punk did that hence them all coming out on top despite the odds.

Because unlike the Divas or the Bourne Kings, I give a damn about Danielson and his story. Just like I cared about Punk being open and honest about the bullshit we all see on 'E programing week in and week out, and how fed up he'd become with it. (My beef with him being that he hasn't changed anything, and has just become Cena-lite.)

    Why?

Henry was a refreshing champion because he was a strong heel that didn't back down and fought for what he'd earned.

Bryan was a refreshing challenger because he earned a specific honor, and he was determined to win honorable, in the biggest and grandest possible fashion.

To be flatly honest, I was entirely unhappy with the Big Show even being in the context of that narrative.

Let him have his revenge shot, yeah, but him getting beaten by Henry only furthers the storyline with Bryan, which was evidently the big payoff.

Which was stupid of the 'E.

Which is what makes Bryan's victory so sweet to you all, only the problem is that he didn't break the glass ceiling like he originally wanted to, instead he took the damn elevator.

Not so much in the case of Ziggler/Ryder, you can have Ryder win here, then have Ziggler opt out of their rematch at Royal Rumble because he's too big for the US Belt and wants to conserve his energy(and then have him win the Rumble).

Henry/Show could've been blown off here because they just debuted Masked Kane, the guy whom Henry put out, and who came out to massive heat. That feud makes itself(whether or not it's enjoyable is another thing, as I don't trust Henry and Kane to be physically capable of a great match at this point), and it gets you through to Wrestlemania.

Yep. I remember Heyman wanted to push Punk back when he was running WWECW. Of course that was before Vince got involved and wanted to push Lasley instead

WWE booked the World Heavyweight Title changes at tonight's TLC pay-per-view because former champion Mark Henry is injured.

Henry is reportedly suffering from a pull in his groin area, which apparently happened during his match against John Cena on RAW. Henry the injury checked out and it was worse than originally thought.

Word is that most of the WWE creative team wanted to allow Henry to work a light schedule so he could let the injury heal but Vince McMahon decided to book the title changes.

That reminds me of something Steve Corino said on commentary on a ROH show years ago about CW Anderson. Something to the effect of a low-blow on Anderson being a life-threatening injury.

It's funnier how Corino said it.

But I'm still giggling over Mark Henry's groin injury being so bad that they had to take the belt off of him. It's one of the greatest humblebrags ever.

So how long will Daniel Bryan keep the title warm for someone else ?

Can't see him holding it until wrestlemania , i just can't see Bryan in the main event at wrestlemania defending the belt.

Maybe they'll have a fatal four way at wrestlemania for that belt ? Orton - Ziggler - Barrett - Bryan ?
