I'm assuming that AJ distracted you, but the match was all about the grudge between Punk and Bryan. AJ wanting to see them suffer was a side story.

In the end, because his priority was straight (getting the title), Punk won. DB was still trying to scheme with AJ, and failing.

This, I liked the match but going into it I knew thanks to all the build up and promos it was all about AJ who doesn't even hold the damn Divas title to at least try and make that title/divison more relevant

Sounds to me like you had an idea of what was going to happen, and it didn't, but you still think it did.
