If they had it would have made more sense. As it is it seems like a bait and switch so we don't get a conclusive match ON THE BIGGEST SHOW OF THE YEAR. I can understand wanting to extend the feud but there are better ways to do it. This feud and Jericho's return run have been lacklustre up to this point because the direction has been inconsistent, this just makes him look even weaker that he needs favours to win the belt.

Oh, absolutely. Adding it last minute is weak. I just think the stipulation makes great sense in the story context of this match.

And Punk can still retain by countout. Would be amusing if he does.

It's not smark rage, it's fucking consumer rage. This wasn't some bullshit on RAW it was a PAY per view. Not everyone dropped their money on this thing for Rock/Cena. No PPV should have a match like that at all much less for a title. It's just lazy & weakens the whole company.
