alex used to feel the same way about mizark. anyways both of his monster runs were awesome and then basically wasted by the way they ended. i actually enjoy the guy in the ring too, he's learned to play his role pretty damn well. HATE his finisher though.

Lbo watched on this very board as i turned the corner on mark henry, in real time.
When he beat randy orton the first time at...vengeance or hell in a cell or wherever it was, i was at a bar with friends watching it, and i legit popped, when the ref counted three i said "YAY!"
I think that was then it was, im sure i said something like "Well, he got rid of kozlov and kane so i like him for that, but he's going to have to wrestle at some point."

I've always thought that (especially on smaller guys) his WSS move should start from the military press position (and I mean the top part of the military press position).

that would be cool, but do you think he actually could military press the likes of the big show or khali?? i just wish he'd come down with more of his bodyweight on his opponents, i can kind of understand if he's afraid he might actually kill somebody though.

speaking of mizark i mizarked out when he tossed titus and told him "grown folks fitna talk!!" before going after khali. i imagined him doing that to his kids at the henry home and smiled.

Dark Match: * Kofi Kingston beat Corey Graves SmackDown, Airing Friday: * Big Show opens SmackDown and is pissed off. He gets interrupted by Chris Jericho and they have words. Jericho challenges Show to a match. Out next are Booker T and Mark Henry. * Mark Henry beat Randy Orton by DQ after Orton grabbed a steel chair and hit Henry in the back with it. Orton wailed on Henry with the chair until Henry turned it around and left Orton with a World's Strongest Slam. * Tamina Snuka defeated Layla. * Tensai and Brodus Clay beat 3MB. The Shield come out after the match and beat Tensai and Clay down to big time heel heat. Dean Ambrose cut a promo on Elimination Chamber and said it will be just like tonight for John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback. * The Miz beat Cody Rhodes with a Figure Four. * Jack Swagger beat Zack Ryder by submission with The Patriot Act. * WWE Champion The Rock is out next to a big pop. Rock cuts a promo on CM Punk stealing the WWE Title belt and wants it back. Rock promises an ass whooping for Punk. Punk and Paul Heyman appear on the big screen. Punk says Rock stole the title from him at Royal Rumble. They have words and Rock ends it with some of his signature catchphrases. Damien Sandow comes out and disses Little Rock and The Rock. Rock puts over the fans and ends up giving Sandow a Rock Bottom and The People's Elbow. * Big Show beat Chris Jericho in the main event. Good back and forth match. Show blocked Walls of Jericho and hit the knockout punch for the win.

BTW, on the board i ripped into a guy for saying something similar too "Great Khali and mark henry was an example of why henry should never get a push."
And like...ok, i have said time and again i don't think Henry has great matches, but to use a match with GREAT KHALI to say he's bad is fucking insulting to the man.
And he was angry there and killed hornswaggle, which ruled.

BTW, portions of the internet are convince Jericho is winning at EC, Ziggler is getting the belt, Ziggler vs Jericho at mania for the title and ADR vs Swagger in non title because Swagger vs Del Rio is no buys.
I like the idea, but i think it's stupid because no one buys the ppv for the WHC match anyway.

Henry, Show, Cesaro is getting it in commentary and they keep having him do strong guy spots, they aren't doing shit with Ryback but given his skill if they get behind him he's doing it.

In another thread I've suggested Mark Henry replace Swagger at WM, how about Wade Barrett?

It'd be tough to justify Barret in that spot on such short notice. Swagger has been champ, and he has been getting a lot of TV time with the Tea Party gimmick. Barret has been somewhere in the midcard for months.
Mark, another former champ who's had a big comeback, would make more sense. Have him destroy Swagger and demand his spot at WM. Mark works best when he's just a beast who smashes and intimidates to get what he wants, something Big Show only does very sporadically.

WWE Announces Social Media SmackDown for Next Week, Test for Future RAW Episode

- Next week's episode of WWE SmackDown will have a "social media takeover" theme. WWE released the following promo for Social Media SmackDown:

Wait...JBL says that he disagrees with the whole Anti-Immigrant/Border Patrol theme. Yet, when he was feuding with Eddie Guerrero, he actually did a skit where he was imitating late night border guards and kicking the crap out of Mexicans in Texas .

I was laughing at that, too. But one of the great things about JBL as an announcer is that everything isn't about him all the time. He could have brought that up, but he seems to take getting whatever is going on in front of him over very, very seriously.

Smackdown is really feeling like a b-show lately. I liked the emphasis on wrestling, but the number of top guys who weren't on Smackdown this week was noticeable. I know that it's the "b-show," but the allocation of talent is making it feel like we're headed to Velocity-land on Friday nights (where we fight!) instead of a show that's supposed to be right below Raw on the pecking order.
