Well it's a mess. I bet Vince thought this angle was actually not making sense and too confusing. So he comes back to "save" it. But it's not really working.

Johnny Ace as temp GM actually works, but getting there has been nonsense. And if Ace isn't a puppet, then why did Vince need to be the one to make the announcement?

Ace getting a huge heel heat is probably a great thing though. Not sure if it's legal heat or not though.
