Yeah, I think if they really want to give Punk the "story book" face push, they should have him him feud with authority (in this case Triple H), screwed out of any future title shots, but win the Royal Rumble and go on to win the WWE title are Wrestlemania. Originally Posted by SUPERECWFAN1
I think a chase storyline with Punk would really be good. It worked when Punk chased Morrison on the ECW brand in 2007 and had the brand get its highest rating that year . And this happened with it being filmed days earlier and reported online too.
I won't mind it really. Hopefully the company isn't foolish enough to make Del Rio lose to Cena his 1st PPV title defense. I'd say ...let Morrison fued with Del Rio this fall awhile and have Punk be in the chase...the hunt til Wrestlemania.
As for Cena... I don't think they will or should have Cena beat Del Rio. But IF he does I'm almost certain Cena will just lose the belt again since I don't think he'll need it going into Wrestlemania.
