I beleive part of this and think part is total crap.
Example, WWE has protected Punk in the losses the story talks about, there haven't been many, and none have been clean. He was kept off tv last night with Cena and Orton so he wouldn't get booed by walking out on HHH, and he was just put in a main event that he didn't really belong in.

WWE had wanted Punk to be in the main event picture since MITB, it has nothing to do with merch, it has to do with their inability to create new stars.
However, this also ignores the fact that HHH was just given the push as the only face last night, and given that Orton and Cena must be kept in the main event picture, i don't see how they can push a 4th guy at the top.

The fact remains that you can't have 3 top faces all in the main event, and WWE seems terrfied to remove Cena from that picture.
The only thing i can think is, they are planning something very long term (ie, very unlike WWE) with Rock, that will remove Cena from the title picture for a while.
Looks to me like Orton is slowly being the one who is odd man out.

The good thing is Cena doesn't need to be in the title picture to be in the main event. (or a main eventer) They finally stopped pretending last year when they made his matches last even though he wasn't fighting for the title.

Cena is getting close to HBK level with that he really doesn't need the belt. So right now they should have Punk be the guy to go after the title. I dont think Orton has anything to worry about as long as he remains on Smackdown as he is the only top face in that brand. I think now would be a good time to consider turning Cena heel. They pretty much dropped the ball with Del Rio anyway

Hey, Del Rio is a legit champ.
Thats why they didn't recognize he was the champ until after we had a Randy Orton match (who has lost 2 title matches in a row now, btw) and some other bit.
    Cuz, yknow, champ is important!!

Curt Hawkins, who is still employed at WWE, twitted the following.

MagicMan47 sent along the following ...

I was at the FCW show in Tampa last week and they had some of the newer guys out flyering cars appearently. The flyers promoted UWW, a fictional promotion portraying Vince, John Laurinaitis, and various others. Not sure if this is something viral for the new WWE network or not, but if it is WWE doing it it looks like their finally poking fun at themselves. It's kind of like the Office only with Vince & Johnny Ace instead of Michael Scott. Not sure if theres actually a wrestling promotion attached or if FCW is involved or not.

Heres the link on the flyer: www.tinyurl.com/TalentRelationsShow

CM Punk, who was not at ringside for the walkout, wrote the following on his Twitter account this evening regarding last night's RAW.

"I think a lot of people are missing the point. Fans and coworkers alike. Walking out is a pussy move. There's a huge difference in what I did. I want change, and I can't change shit from my couch. I'm in the fox hole. I'm getting it done. I stayed to fight and I'm fighting for change. You can protest, violently or peacefully without actually showing up. Walking out isn't a solution at least not one that I've ever seen work. Hold 'em up. Make them change. Don't just walk out, or lay down. Fight. This goes for fans as well. Bored? Don't like @johncena ? Want more @ZackRyder ? Show up and be heard. Don't be a pussy and just tweet about it.

I want change, and I'll stand and fight for it even if I'm alone. Popular or unpopular, I could care less. Take your voting and shove it. Actions speaks louder than words. Except mine. My words are pretty awesome. No think about all that, and hopefully you'll get it. #fight

Too many tweets from me. Misspellings abound. You CAN'T protest without showing up. I am not Gandhi. I will kick your face. Don't like HHH as COO? Punch him in the face. I did. It's wrestling, not the NBA. #fight Next high kick to Johnny "Funkhauser" Ace won't be an accident."

Oh Punk, sometimes I like your Tweets better than your promos Still when looking at it doesn't the walk out make the faces who walked out look bad?

Is CM Punk ok to say pussy in his tweets, being that the WWE is having wrestlers tweet in character now?

Though that would be a fun gimmick.

    +1.

Dude is entertaining. He's not the best in the ring or the mic (though he's quite decent at both), but whenever he's on my tv I am entertained, and in the WWE today that's really the most important thing.

    I'd mark so hard.

And I don't even care about Hawkins that much.

Great Khali. They needed a wrestler who speaks Urdu for storylines with Khali, IIRC, which Mahal has said in interviews.

Also, yeah, the huge Indian market. I'm a bit surprised they don't have a Chinese guy on there.

Well, Khali is gone and i would guess Jinder is too, so that sucks for indians and people who like bad wrestlers.

Not sure about that. WWE might keep Jinder around to try and keep Indians interested in their shows? He's probably not being paid very much.
