Its no shock Kurt couldn't do MMA. I mean , the guy is game for it. But his neck has been broken 2-3 times and he's had experimental surgery to keep going here. I respect the will to try and do it. But his body isn't what it was in 2000.

Not surprising, though it would've been fun to see Kurt on TUF.

In MMA, having a skill in one area doesn't mean you win.Fighting a guy who you know is going to try to get you on the ground actually gives your opponent an eye into your game and a good way to plan how to fight him actually.
And, while an olympic wrestleris dangerous, he isn't used to being punched in the face after he takes a guy down, or defending against it, or being kneed, elbowed, etc etc.
    Yes, now.

However, 6-7 years ago (or really up to 14-15 years ago, assuming he went into it after Atlanta), the sports wasn't anywhere near as developed, and guys like Matt Hughes were dominating with mostly wrestling.

Mike Bennent is a star. He's so easy on the mic and has his character nailed. But the failure of Jim Cornette....he puts a guy who looks like he came outta the Rocky movies as his trainer called Bob Evans. Its just silly...yes have a manager. But not someone who is playing Mick from the Rocky flicks.

Also Jim Cornette...we don't need you telling us to try and hate Mile Bennent . Less is more...let the fans hate him.

Most everyone hates Mike Bennet, mostly cause he is below ROH standards of good.

I think he's got a great character honestly. I really walked away from his promo thinking....damn he's gold on the mic. In ring ...sure he lacks. But guy has his character.

Zack Ryder has joined the list of top 10 WWE merchandise movers with names like CM Punk, Sin Cara, John Cena and Rey Mysterio, based on recent numbers from their shop website.

    - WWE's Insider account on Twitter posted photos last night of The Miz and R-Truth being escorted out of the building in handcuffs by police. They wrote: "Cops are now talking with John Laurinaitis. Triple H has left the building. Many Superstars are saying they're very concerned."

    - Evan Bourne, David Otunga, Cody Rhodes and Intercontinental Title were some of the terms trending worldwide on Twitter last night during WWE Hell in a Cell.

WrestleZone has confirmed that an internal memo sent to WWE staffers this week listed the top 10 merchandise sellers, and John Cena has been replaced for the first time in several years as the number one seller.

    The new number one?

    CM Punk.

According to the memo, Punk is the number one merchandise selling WWE Superstar both on WWE Shop Zone and at the live events. The only time Cena was not number one was when The Rock returned to WWE Monday Night Raw, and his t-shirts sold a record number on ShopZone.

According to a key source in WWE, two of Punk's shirts have already eclipsed the Rock's one-day sales record. "Punk's merchandise is hot," our source told us, "no one has dethroned Cena in over 5 years, and Punk's numbers are way above anything or anyone else."

I guess ...if Bob does the voice of Meredith , "Your gonna eat lightning and crap thunder !"

Ok that would be funny if we get the guy acting like Mick from them and totally sells it.

"Get up you son of a bitch....cause Bob loves ya !"

When you are on the top of the mountain, where do you go. CM Punk is more over than anybody. He is stuck in Cena and Ortonville. Your only purpose right now, is to put other guys over. Since Hunter did not bite the bullet and go heel, we now a 3 headed face beast on Raw against Funkman.

Hey WWE did you notice that fans like cheering guys who get "screwed over" by Hunter. Miz and Truth were babyfaces with that crowd. Now can you take that momentum and make the Awesome Truth faces which will not help anybody or do you continue with having divided crowds whose cheers ruin your storylines.

That would be horrible. Your first instinct was right. The Brutal Bob character was a bad partnering. Just looked dumb and made Bennett look silly instead of credible.

Honestly, I think that ROH fans' workrate expectations work against the company. Occupying that niche was fine when they were just selling DVDs to people, but once you go into TV, capturing casual viewers becomes a lot more important. And that's when having guys who actually know how to work a character (instead of just kicking each other really hard over and over again) becomes pretty important.

    Nice. Go, Punk, go!

What this does is free WWE to do what everyone's been clamoring for for years: turn Cena heel. They couldn't do it while he was the only guy who was selling a ton of merchandise, but now that Punk's on top, they can do heel Cena vs. Punk, and then do Rock vs. Cena the way they need to at Wrestlemania. And they could finally do heel Cena vs. face Orton, which would be a new dynamic for those two.

Miz and R-Truth are keeping a lot of eyes on them, as well. I'd worry less about whether they're faces or heels and more about keeping people interested in them. As long as people are invested in them, you've got a lot of options.

Punk sells well with our demo, but not so much with the kids. If my 5 year old could punch anybody in the face, it would be Punk.
