Archangel


Real Name: Warren Kenneth Worthington III

Powers/Abilities:

Archangel can heal fatal injuries and cure most known diseases at an accelerated speed by mixing his blood with that of the victims, so long as they have a compatible blood type. After genetic alteration by Apocalypse, Archangel grew wings composed of a razor-sharp organic steel-like material, which allow him to use them as slashing weapons. He can also expel his feathers at great speed and with tremendous force, enabling them to pierce even steel. The feathers are tipped with a paralyzing chemical generated by his body (he is immune).

Archangel’s wings span 16 feet and have a very flexible skeletal structure. He can fly by flapping his wings, and can reach speeds of up to 150 mph. Though he generally flies below the height of clouds at 6,500 feet, Archangel can reach a height of 10,000 feet with little effort. His wings are strong enough to carry aloft at least 200 pounds in addition to his own body weight. Archangel's entire anatomy is adapted for flight, having hollow bones; a body virtually devoid of fat, granting him enhanced proportionate muscle strength; eyes that can withstand high-speed winds; enhanced eyesight enabling him to see at distances far greater than the average human; and a special respiratory membrane that extracts oxygen from the air at extreme velocities and altitudes.


History:

Warren Worthington the Third was born Hector of Troy in 1210 BC. He excelled as a child in academics and sporting activities. He developed his mutant healing powers at puberty and being a child of the royal family was considered a gift from the God’s rather than sacrificed like other mutants of the time. Hector swiftly proved himself a military and diplomatic genius in his early adulthood, becoming a famous and feared combatant on the field of battle as well.

The Trojan War started in 1184 BC and Hector kept the Greek forces and their allies at bay despite his enemy’s vast numerical advantage. Hearing of the Great War the Egyptian mutant En Sabah Nur travelled to Troy and in front of the armies defeated Ares in a vicious battle before dragging Ares away. Hector became embroiled in a personal battle with Achilles, who turned out to be a mutant as well. En Sabah Nur returned as they were fighting and took both heroes away.

En Sabah Nur transformed Hector via his Celestial technology into one of his Horsemen. He infected Hector with a nanite virus which manifested in the form of his metallic wings when exposed to Celestial energy, his mutant healing abilities adapted his body to deal with his new physiology.

The Greek God’s travelled in force to take Ares back from Apocalypse, as En Sabah Nur now named himself. The God’s could not stand up to Apocalypse who had crafted a battle suit out of his Celestial technology and was powered by Celestial energy. It took the intervention of Zeus to defeat Apocalypse and free the Horsemen from his control. Apocalypse had been killed by a back surge of energy from the suit and the God’s took his remains back to Egypt, they hid his battle suit so no mortal could wield its incredible power again.

Freed from his enslavement Hector flew back to Troy, only to find it in ruins and his family slain. He wandered the lands in a daze for decades until he met the leader of the slaves, Moses. Moses helped Hector overcome his grief and helped him to accept his new place in the world. Moses told Hector he could be a new Archangel for the world, protecting the weak and restraining the powerful.

Hector took to calling himself Archangel and created a team of heroes, the Eternals. This allowed Archangel to control the most powerful beings in the known world, keep the interference of the God’s to a minimum and combat the various evils about at the time. At one point they saved a small tribe of Immortals from slavery who took the group’s name in honour. Since then there has always been a member of the tribe Eternal serving on the team. The leader of the tribe eventually became Archangel’s second wife, Sersi.

Archangel is the only ever present member of the Eternals throughout their long history. He has interacted with almost every major hero throughout history, such as Beowulf and King Arthur, and has taken on the responsibility of being the De Facto leader of every Immortal in the world. He is known to Pantheons and governments and is usually the first contact in the case of trouble with Immortal beings. With the gradual emergence of other super powered teams the Eternals and Archangel find themselves mainly policing the Immortal community. He has created a worldwide system known as the Cycle to keep an eye on the movements of the Immortal community.

Archangel has taken on several identities over the centuries so that he can pass on his belongings to himself without raising suspicion. His most recent identity is that of Warren Worthington. He has been all three Worthington’s.

En Sabah Nur was recently resurrected, Archangel battled him to no avail due to the interference of the Punisher who mistook the Eternals as Apocalypse’s minions. After convincing the Punisher of the Eternals good intentions he led the people of New York City and Ancient Egypt in a massive battle against an army of Vampires whilst Kang the Conqueror battled Apocalypse.

The timeline started to fracture after the Punisher attacked Kang causing him to disappear. Archangel led the Eternals to the Realm of Death, meaning to look in the Infinity Well to find Kang, and finally met Death herself. Death revealed that she has been following Archangel’s life with interest and so far still cannot perceive his death in the future.

Eisenstein

Powers/Abilities:

Eisenstein is a result of an advanced biological experiment. He possesses advanced strength, stamina, agility and intellect. His physical body and skin is nearly invulnerable and can absorb great force, abrasions, heat, cold and overall damage. He does not age. His life force is linked to electricity.

History:

Eisenstein was born in Bregenz, Austria in 1876. His father Wolfgang Eisenstein was a salesman and engineer and his mother Teresa Carter Eisenstein had been a teacher in America before meeting Wolfgang during one of his business ventures. Eisenstein embraced all forms of learning as a child and was fascinated with the scientific world. His father made a modest living with his private engineering company which afforded Ludolf the luxury of attending university. The young academic excelled in new physics and wrote several published papers that won acclaim within the scientific community. He even studied medicine for a year when the human body sparked his curiosity. His interests then spread to matters of the mind and human condition where he studied under and befriended fellow Austrian Sigmund Freud for several years. When advances in electricity seemed to be the gateway to civilization's future, Eisenstein quickly engulfed everything he could learn to unravel its mysteries and journeyed to Colorado Springs to exchange ideas with Nikola Tesla.

Never establishing himself as a master of one science or another and with no patents or inventions to fund his never-ending learning expeditions, Eisenstein approached a prestigious Austrian University and convinced them that he was on the brink of something historic, a whole new kind of science that would shake the world itself, and all profits gained from his research would be shared with the University in exchange for funding. The offer was accepted and Eisenstein began his experiments, combining his advanced understanding of physics, medicine, anatomy, psychology and electrical current in what he called "Project Prometheus."

News of his strange experiments spread throughout the international scientific community. Rumors and wild accusations followed him as he went from being labeled brilliant to eccentric to bizarre and eventually mad. The University threatened to cut his funding if he did not show them concrete results with thorough explanations of what he exactly had been up to. Austrian police even opened an investigation into Eisenstein regarding the disappearance of four local vagrants and an allegedly infatuated student at his University.

Just when things were looking bleak for Eisenstein, his psyche and confidence nearly shattered, his University and colleagues abandoning him and his experiments going nowhere - then entered a wealthy philanthropist named Alucard who expressed keen interest in his experiments and personally guaranteed any funding he may need to complete "Project Prometheus." Eisenstein broke from the University and continued his work under Alucard's watchful eye. The two men quickly became friends and confidants and painted the town of Vienna red nightly after the scientist spent long days in his lab, much to the dismay of Eisenstein's former friends and colleagues in addition to local authorities who still suspected the scientist had something to do with missing persons. The mad scientist and the enigmatic millionaire's partnership began showing results and "Project Prometheus" finally seemed obtainable. Alucard's under the table deal with the local mortuary provided fresh cadavers and Eisenstein began spreading the word during his late night outings that he would soon reveal god himself to the world and promise life ever lasting.

Things went dreadfully wrong. Just as Eisenstein was set to make what he predicted would be his first fully successful experiment, Alucard once again invited him out for a night of festivity and preliminary celebration. The two men drank all night from pub to music hall, hitting every cabaret in the vicinity and revealing their deepest desires and darkest secrets, as unbelievable as they may have seemed. Eisenstein unraveled the intricacies of his project and Alucard admitted he knew them all along, claiming he had been waiting for someone like Eisenstein for centuries. The night let to day and Alucard was forced to rush his inebriated friend to his private library in order to avoid overexposure to the Sun. There as the scientist could no longer remain conscious from fatigue and wine, and Alucard weakened by the light of the sun - the vampire decided to drink from his friend. Rarely has Dracula made such a miscalculation but the weakness and fragility of Eisenstein after months of long hours in the lab and on the town had been more than Alucard counted on, and a quick drink for restoration led to an accident unexpected for Alucard/Dracula had taken too much and Franklin Eisenstein was dead.

There was one chance to save his new friend. Dracula used Eisenstein's research, including the secrets revealed to him that night and with the final experiment set and prepared, Dracula became surgeon and scientist, unleashing electricity into the dead to bring eternal life to his fallen friend. Project Prometheus was a success. Eisenstein lives!

Understanding the danger that Eisenstein posed as a physical specimen whose psychology after death and reanimation would be potentially volatile, one who now knew Alucard's secret life as a vampire and also what the revelation of Project Prometheus' success would mean to the world and the possibility of widespread eternity - Dracula chose to seal off his private library and tomb, closing Eisenstein behind an impenetrable wall for nearly 100 years.

Entombed for a century, Eisenstein learned to embrace his existence and used Dracula's library and vast collection of books and material spanning centuries to strengthen his mind, reclaiming the intellect of his first human life and expanding and broadening to levels of genius he never could have obtained before. He also worked on his new physical form and learned to control and master his posthuman, nearly invulnerable frame and abilities. Loneliness and the battle within his mind proved his only weaknesses.

Then, Dracula with the help of Blade came calling. They agreed to release Eisenstein if he helped them defeat Dracula's long time nemesis Vlad of Wallachia and his private army. So Eisenstein returned to the world after nearly a century of solitude. What now becomes of "Dracula's Monster?"

Punisher

History:

Born in New York to parents of Italian ancestry, Francis Castiglione is a former U.S. Marine Captain. Prior to his enlistment, he married his wife Maria who was already pregnant with their first child. During his time in the United States Marine Corps (USMC), Castle graduated from Basic Training, then went on to Infantry School. Immediately following that, he went through the USMC's Reconnaissance, Force Reconnaissance, and Sniper Schools. Attaining dockets, Castle was permitted to go through U.S. Army Airborne School, and U.S. Navy Underwater Demolition Team training, becoming qualified as a Navy Seal (Sea, Air and Land). He served in the First Gulf War in a special forces unit as a point man. For heroism in the line of duty, he was decorated with numerous medals, including the Purple Heart.


Shortly after a tour of duty, Castle, his wife, Maria and their children were in New York's Central Park for an afternoon picnic when they witnessed a Mafia gangland execution; an informant had been hanged from a tree. Seeking to eliminate all witnesses, the Costa crime family murdered them on the spot. However, Castle survived. Even though Frank was able to identify all of the shooters the police were unable to help Castle in his quest for justice; they were tied in too deeply to the powerful Costa family. He decided that the only punishment criminals might receive is that of physical destruction. Shortly thereafter, he emblazoned his body armor with a symbol of a death's head, and exacted his revenge. Since then he has waged a one-man war upon crime, taking the name Punisher.

The Punisher was mortally wounded during a raid. A demonic Egyptian priesthood offered him immortality as he was dying. The price was his soul, consumed by his lust for vengeance he accepted. The priest who saved his life taunted him by pointing out that his obsession will grow over the centuries to the point where Frank would not be able to really grasp the difference between good and evil. The priest also informs Frank that the deal has enabled them to rip his family’s souls out of there afterlife too.

Crazed by the prospect of what is happening to his family after death the Punisher tracks the priest’s down and comes across Apocalypses resurrection. The priests use Frank’s soul to resurrect En Sabur Nur and his family’s to elevate him to godhood in the decimated Egyptian Pantheon. The Punisher mistakes the Eternals for Apocalypse’s minions and attacks, Archangel battles the Punisher and convinces him that the Eternals are the good guys.

Kang the Conqueror arrived to aid the Eternals in fighting Apocalypse, accidently fetching an army of vampires through time to run rampage through New York City and Ancient Egypt. The Punisher noted that Kang’s outfit looked remarkably like his own. Kang then informed Frank that he was his future self, age three thousand. The Punisher was unable to handle the news that he would become Kang and shot Kang in the back as he was battling Apocalypse.

Apocalypse fell through the time stream and Kang disappeared. With the timeline starting to fracture the Eternals invaded the Realm of Death meaning to look in the Infinity Well to find Kang and help him repair time. Confronted by Death only the Punisher refused to bow before her in respect. He was the only one granted the right to look in the well, upon looking he found out that he, Kang and Apocalypse now share the same soul and are able to find each other at will.

Vast telepathic and telekinetic abilities; extraction of life energy.

History:

Bennet du Paris was a Frenchman who fought alongside Eobar Garrington, the Black Knight of the 12th century and warrior in the Crusades. Bennet and Eobar were close friends, but they parted ways when Bennet set out to explore a legend of the lost pharaoh in Egypt. He found instead the Red Dust.

The Red Dust is an ancient creature of immense power which seeks to wipe out all life on earth so that it can take the life energy of the planet for itself. It captured Bennet and invested him with power, enslaving him to do its bidding. They made their way to the Valley of the Kings, where an ancient nexus point of power lay buried in the sand.

The Red Dust meant to choke the world on his essence via the nexus when the Eternals showed up to thwart him. Merlin helped free Bennet’s mind from the Red Dust’s control and together Bennet and the Irish giant Fionn forced the Red Dust through the Nexus seemingly killing him. Bennet gained a portion of the Red Dust’s ability to extract life energy through this action.

Bennet decided to join the Eternals who offered to help him adjust to his powers. He took the codename Exodus on leaving Egypt and learning how it was Moses that inspired Archangel to create the Eternals. He battled against numerous foes and beside many members of the Eternals for centuries before leaving to marry his long time love, Marie De Vassey.

Exodus would return to fight beside the Eternals during the Gaea Crisis, helping to fight back the spirit of a hell world meaning to replace Gaea’s essence with his own. Exodus would telepathically link the minds of everyone on earth to send their willpower to Gaea and help her defeat Malum Malis.

On returning to his wife he found her possessed by the Red Dust who was trying to force his return to earth. Before he could regain his full power Exodus was forced to sacrifice his wife to prevent the Red Dust’s return. Exodus prepared to take his own life before he was sent a premonition of the Red Dust’s final return. Exodus vowed he would wait so he could destroy the Red Dust once and for all.

Exodus would once again rejoin the Eternals when they called for his help in defeating the Morrigan, Queen of Nightmares, Exodus has remained a member since. He has recently been trying to discover the identity of the being that sent him the premonition.

Exodus was on the front line once more during Apocalypse’s resurrection; Exodus battled the Egyptian mutant one on one for several minutes allowing the rest of the team time to recover. He would participate in the closing part of the battle with the time displaced vampire army, fighting beside the people of New York and Ancient Egypt. He then journeyed to the Realm of Death with the team and was granted a brief reunion with his wife by Death. His wife, despite warnings by Death not to, cryptically warned him that “The Gates are open.”

History:

Illyana found herself in Hell, or rather Limbo, with no memory of how she got there or anything that had happened to her in the ten years prior and no way to escape. She was far from helpless, however. Whenever she needed it, knowledge of magical spells would come back to her. Illyana has had to get used to having the powers of a sorceress.

What Illyana did not know was that the reason she was in Limbo was that she had become a pawn in a game that followed Mephisto's rules. The magic she used was black. Without knowing it, she tainted everything she used it on, and herself. Limbo was slowly becoming more suitable for Mephisto's rule with every spell she cast.

But Illyana slowly began to realize what was wrong with her magic, and tried to change it, to make it white. Mephisto would have none of that, so he sent his devoted servant, Gudrun Tyburn, to Limbo to force Illyana's hand.

Another player then entered the fray. Elsa Bloodstone, Illyana's childhood friend from the collective farm. The Bloodstone family had kept an eye on the Rasputins for generations, believing that one of them would fulfill an ancient prophecy and cause the Bloodstone Wars that would destroy the world. She enlisted the help of Albion the Green Knight to find a way to Limbo to kill her former best friend.

Accidentally falling into Elsa's portal to Limbo were two teenage girl's, even younger than Illyana and Elsa, who were interested in the occult. Illyana found and rescued one, Gloriana Puceanu, while Elsa was able to save the other one, Jennifer Kale.

Tyburn created a bloodstone, the only thing that can give someone who is not a god the ability to rule Limbo, and used its power to unleash an army of ghosts on the interlopers in Limbo. She kidnapped the youngest of them, Gloriana and Jennifer, even as Illyana and Elsa attempted to fight off the ghosts.

With their situation seemingly hopeless Albion suggested to Elsa another method of destroying Illyana. Going back in time and killing her father before she was born. He sent Elsa to do just that, but neglected to tell her that in Limbo Illyana would be immune to any changes to the timestream.

For Albion was working for Mephisto the entire time. With Tyburn's help he found Illyana and told her all about Elsa's plan. In a rage, Illyana summons one of the stepping disks of Limbo to take her to Elsa, surprising Albion and angering Tyburn, whose control over Limbo was revealed by that action to be less than absolute.

They had hoped that Illyana would murder her best friend in anger, and Illyana did come close during a fierce battle. But she was more interested in knowing why Elsa wanted her dead so.

With no other options, Elsa told all she knew. Illyana had become a powerful sorceress during the ten years she could not remember, a powerful practitioner of black magic. She and Elsa had sparred before, with Elsa on the side of the angels. Illyana had committed terrible deeds, deeds Elsa could not forgive her for. And most damning, the Rasputins were in fact of the same bloodline as Mephisto.

Now that she knew the identity of the one who robbed her of her childhood, Illyana knew who her anger should have been directed against, Mephisto. She and Elsa formed an uneasy alliance and returned to Limbo, where Tyburn and Albion were waiting for them.

Tyburn had created two more bloodstones, one from the soul of each teenager she had captured, turning a part of their souls permanently to evil and making both of them her slaves. Illyana and Elsa were no match for this new power of hers. They were almost beaten when Elsa, finally realizing that Illyana was their only hope of preventing the bloodstone war, told her of one of the most important parts of the prophecies. The soul sword. A weapon like no other.

Illyana strained her powers to their limits to forge the weapon, but it was worth it. Albion and the demons of Limbo fled from the light of the soul sword, but Tyburn didn't. Not until Illyana cut off her hand with it.

Tyburn retreated into the fortress of the ruler of Limbo and sulked in her fury. She forgot her orders from Mephisto and ordered Illyana dead. She unleashed the entire might of Limbo upon Illyana and Elsa, led by the corrupted Gloriana and Jennifer.

Not even the soul sword was a match for the endless armies of Limbo, and it seemed that Illyana and Elsa would soon meet their ends. But Illyana realized that Tyburn only had three bloodstones and that there were still two bloodstones missing. That meant there was still a chance to remove Limbo from Tyburn's control.

In an act of supreme sacrifice, Illyana forged the final two bloodstones from her own soul. Her soul was two-fifths bound to evil, but she gained the power to challenge Tyburn's control over Limbo, starting with Gloriana and Jennifer. The four teenage girls and most of the armies of Limbo advanced on Tyburn's fortress, and she fled Limbo, vowing revenge.

Illyana, now the undisputed ruler of Limbo, Elsa, Gloriana, and Jennifer returned to Earth and went their separate ways, trying to pick up the pieces of their lives. Illyana and the younger two teenagers took the bloodstones that had been made from their souls to safeguard them. They had learned that the ultimate purpose of the bloodstones was to summon a force even greater than Mephisto, the Elder Gods, when all five were gathered.

Illyana has now made an enemy of Mephisto and the Elder Gods. But the most dangerous enemy may be the darkness within. A darkness she strengthened when she created the final two bloodstones.

Moon Knight

Powers/Abilities:

Moon Knight has advanced strength, speed and reflexes. His abilities increase at night and continue to increase with the Moon’s lunar cycle peaking at the full moon. Moon Knight is immortal via a curse from the Moon Goddess Artemis and receives prophetic messages from various Pantheons Moon Goddesses.


History:

Marc Spector was born in 1922 to wealthy parents in Chicago. He was a spoiled child who regularly bent rules and was frequently in trouble with the law; he would often end up buying his way out of serious trouble. He became a serial womanizer and adrenaline junkie in his early adulthood and regularly risked his life with increasingly dangerous activities.

Marc would join the army and fight in WWII. Marc quickly proved popular with his willing acceptance of the most dangerous assignments and regularly received specialist training. Marc was supposed to undergo an experiment for the army to become their second super soldier when he mysteriously disappeared. He would reappear towards the end of the war with enhanced abilities and played a big part in helping the Allies reach Berlin.

Marc later revealed that he had seduced a woman in a Parisian nightclub and then left her. Unfortunately the woman happened to be the Moon Goddess Artemis who cursed Marc in retaliation. Marc was to be sacrificed when the Goddess and her servants came under attack from a team of mystical creatures working for the Nazis. Marc freed himself and helped to drive off the creatures. The Goddess decided to make him a Servant of the Moon instead and granted him his powers along with immortality.

Marc later found out that he could receive prophetic visions from any Pantheons Moon Goddess. The Moon Goddesses have formed an alliance and become a loose Pantheon in their own right; Marc was named as their Champion after impressing in a tournament between all of the Moon Knights.

The League of Moon Knights is a very clandestine group known only to a few individuals; it is believed that only Marc personally uses the codename Moon Knight. Marc refused the Leadership of the group even though he was named as Champion as he was unwilling to change his ways. Marc is constantly referred to as immature amongst the Eternals whom he joined when Archangel asked the Moon Knights to form an alliance.

Despite his antics though Archangel has described Marc as perhaps the most reliable member of the team, he once stated that if a task “absolutely had to be done then Moon Knight was the man for the job, just as long as you don’t mind how he did it”.

Billy Kaplan is perhaps the most powerful sorcerer in existence, but is currently untrained. As the Sinister Supreme he can draw on several mystical energies to perform potentially any task. He is also empathically linked to evil, capable of sensing it in others and controlling people via evil acts. Unlike other sorcerers Billy is capable of using mystical energies risk free unlike most other sorcerers. He is supposedly the Nexus point for the existence of evil. Billy is also a mutant and it is unsure which of his abilities his mutant powers are.

History:

Billy Kaplin was an ordinary boy living a normal life, well okay he could teleport and people seemed to do what he told them to. Billy kept these abilities to himself and tried to hide the fact that he was a mutant. It started to become harder to keep his abilities to himself as he started to develop other powers. His parents eventually found out when they came home one day to find all of the furniture levitating, as well as Billy. Billy commanded his parents to forget what they had seen and so far haven’t shown any indication that they can remember the incident.

Billy was confronted one day on his way to school by Hela, Morgan Le Fay and Selene of the Cabal. They informed him that he was the Chosen Host of the Sinister Supreme mantle. Billy decided to join the Cabal after they offered to hone his potential. Selene sensed his mutant energy and confirmed the fact for Billy. Morgan Le Fay helped ease Billy into accessing the various magical energy fields and started his tutelage in wielding them. Morgan took to calling Billy “young Wiccan” as she was teaching him.

Billy was thrust straight into action as the team arrived to find Doom struggling to stop Surtur from entering our plane of existence. Billy immediately attacked wielding power that he unconsciously pulled from various realms. As powerful as he was Billy was not skilful enough to defeat Surtur and it took Doom’s interaction to finally defeat Surtur and seal him in Wundagore Mountain. Doom had promised Billy to Dormammu as payment for borrowed power to defeat Surtur, Doom reneged on his promise and attacked Dormammu. Doom was banished to the Eternal Crossroads as punishment where he declared the Sinister Supreme as his.

Billy has recently found himself the subject of Hela’s intentions, she decided that the Sinister Supreme would be an excellent consort for the Queen of Hel and whisked Billy off to Hel in an attempt to impress his dark side. Billy though has rejected Hela’s advances. She now wants two things,an explanation and vengeance, Hel certainly does know the fury of a scorned woman.

History:

The first thing that Kaine can remember is spiders, spiders and darkness. For what seemed a thousand years all he could sense was millions of spiders feeding on him in perpetual darkness. He finally sensed that there was something beyond his pain and the darkness and managed to open his eyes. He found himself in a laboratory surrounded by dead bodies and covered in blood, the name Kaine was written on the wall in blood. Kaine sensed guards approaching and used his precognitive abilities to escape the facility.

He discovered his superior physical abilities as he lived rough on the streets fighting for survival. Homeless vagrants seemed to migrate towards him for leadership and protection. Kaine started to initiate them by using his burning touch to leave “the Mark of Kaine” upon his followers; he himself had begun to wear a mask to cover his own ravaged face.

Kaine continued to dream about spiders and became convinced that he was an envoy that had been sent to prepare the way for the Spider-God. He began to send his followers on raids to gather Spider totems from museums and initiated a ceremony to allow the Spider-God to cross over. Spider Demons instead flooded through and Kaine’s followers were all eaten alive. Kaine battled the demons to try and prevent them from from devouring the town where he had performed the ceremony. Just as it looked like Kaine would be killed the Midnight Son’s arrived. Daimon Hellstorm managed to exorcise the demons and Kaine was invited to join the team.

Kaine participated in the battle of Paris where he was injured as he battled the Black Knights Blood Wraiths. He would later fight the giant Blood Wraith Beast as Madrid sank into Hell and fight in the catacombs beneath Vatican City. The Midnight Son’s followed the Black Knight and the Holy Grail back to his mistress Morgan Le Fay. Morgan Le Fay forced the Son’s to become Black Knight’s followers and prepared to send them to slaughter London to finally break their spirit.

Morgan was preparing to enslave the world via the power of the Grail and opened a time portal to spread her influence across all of time. She did not notice that Kaine’s precognitive abilities had prevented his mind from being completely enslaved; he fought against her control and snatched the Grail as she was about to complete the spell. As a result the spell backfired and killed Kaine. The Grail, the Black Knight and the Midnight Son’s were swept through the out of control time portal. Morgan Le Fay closed the portal and then left with Kaine’s body.

History:

Scott Wright was a Disc Jockey in England during the closing days of World War III in 1970. After discovering his Mutant abilities he was enlisted into the Allied Spy Service serving under Director Dirk Anger as his personal assistant and bodyguard. After proving himself during the battle of Central Antarctica by (Supposedly) defeating the Feng Shui Fighter once and for all therefore winning the War he was invited to join the ASS's elite unit the KICKs. After the Death of KICK leader Charles Xavier, Scott along with veteran KICKs Clint Barton and Danny Rand resigned from the ASS in disgust, becoming Peacekeepers in the new world order. For the next Two years Scott and the group now known as the Ass-Kickers Of The Fantastic had countless battles against the remaining CommuNazi forces. Along the way they recruited Young Mutant Quentin Quire and then in 1973 IT happened....

Scott and the Ass-Kickers were somehow transported to a world they never made. Both the heroes and villains of this world turned on the Ass-Kickers and in order to survive long enough to explain the situation Scott and Danny had to activate Project IMMORTAL Weapon... sacrificing Danny's mystical abilities leaving him powerless and causing Scott to be stuck as a giant by default.

After their first encounter of the New Universe as Danny, Clint, and Quentin decided to settle down in their new homes Scott had a different idea. He would go to Danny's Mystical home of K'un-L'un in order to cure his condition. The Ass-Kickers supporting his decision accompanied him to Asia where they said their goodbyes.

History:

Organized in 1948 after the invasion of Australia by the remaining World Nations free of the CommuNazi menace, A.S.S was created to act as the first and last line of defence in regards to threats of Allied Nations.

Led by decorated war Hero Dirk Anger A.S.S was a success from the get go. Successfully freeing 6 CommuNazi controlled nations within it's first decade of operation.

Among the Service's most successful projects being the K.I.C.Ks. Formed in the 1960's this rag tag band of superpowered freedom fighters finally turned the tide of the war in favour for the Allies after decades of conflict.

However as the War was reaching it's end the K.I.C.Ks were beginning to question their orders. In Response the A.S.S instated the GUARDIAN project as a new and larger group of LOYAL agents. The K.I.C.Ks went rogue, becoming Mercenary freedom fighters.

After approximately a decade of having the K.I.C.Ks as a Thorn in A.S.S's side Dirk Anger was forced to activate his most powerful weapon on men he once called friends. Project FANTASTIC was launched and the K.I.C.Ks (By this point called the Ass-Kickers of The Fantastic) were never seen or heard from again.

With all Threats Neutralized Dirk Anger happily retired to the Savage Land with John the Skrull Taking his place as the new Director of A.S.S.

Morbius has enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, agility and senses. The level of enhancement depends on how recently he has fed on fresh blood and of which kind. Specific species such as mutant and demon usually enhance him considerably more than normal humans. Morbius also has an accelerated healing factor which can be boosted with the ingestion of fresh blood along with razor sharp claws and fangs. He can also glide on air currents.
Morbius suspects that he can add further vampiric abilities to his current ones by ingesting the blood of specific vampires. Morbius remains one of the world’s foremost scientists and constantly uses his unique biological makeup to find cures for diseases. Morbius can pass on his vampiric condition in the usual style such as biting his victims. Although none of his few victims have shown his ability to control their thirst, Morbius believes this is because he was already dead when he was infected and the resurrection back to a healthy body healed his mind as well as his body.

History:

Dr. Michael Morbius was a prize winning biochemist that was approached to work on a secret project for the German government. A vampire Clan had tried to infiltrate the country’s government without success, they had been captured and where now being experimented on.

At first Dr. Morbius was against the experiments and threatened to expose the government. Before he could do so he found out that he was dying from a rare disease. Dr. Morbius then agreed to experiment on the vampires in the hope of replicating their healing factors.

Dr. Morbius became more desperate as the disease grew in strength and ravaged his body. He had failed several times to isolate the healing factor ability and with hours left to live and feeling he had nothing left to lose he experimented on himself. He injected himself with his latest attempt but died a few hours later anyway.

One of the vampires managed to escape from his cell and desperate for strength decided to feed on Dr. Morbius recently dead body. The vampires bite managed to interact with the adjusted vampire blood that Dr. Morbius had injected himself with and resurrected him.
Morbius found himself to be a new breed of vampire; he does not feel the overwhelming thirst for blood and can go months without feeding, although the longer he goes without feeding the weaker he becomes. Thanks to the unique mix of the blood serum and the vampires infection Morbius healing factor managed to fully resurrect him so that he is more like a living vampire then a dead one.

Morbius lived rough on the streets of Europe and secretly played the good Samaritan by curing the severely ill that he came across. In contrast Morbius began to feel less qualms about feeding on murderers and rapists when he came across them.
One night, whilst in the City of Prague, Morbius came across a man killing a prostitute. Morbius was too late to save the woman and decided to kill the man. Morbius was witnessed feeding on the man and was chased through the City. The reports of a savage vampire on the streets of Prague reached the ears of Daimon Hellstorm, who had recently recruited Shroud and Nightcrawler, and he joined the hunt for Morbius.

It was the Shroud who realized that Morbius was different from other vampires, and after watching him risk his life to cure a child whilst his enemies hunted him, Shroud managed to approach him and offer him a spot on Hellstorm’s new team. Morbius accepted and has proved a valuable asset to the team but Nightcrawler and Ghost Rider still do not trust him, especially after Morbius fed off several of their enemies during the Parisian battle against the Black Knight’s Blood Wraiths. Morbius was badly injured during the battle in Paris but managed to travel with the team to Madrid where he fed on demons as the City sank into hell. Morbius received a massive power boost from the demons blood which enabled him to lead the line in battling the giant Blood Wraith Beast.

Morbius would later fight alongside the Pope and follow the trail of the Holy Grail to Morgan Le Fay herself where he was accidentally sent through time with the Son’s and the Black Knight to the time of King Arthur. While stuck in the past Morbius has battled an insane Ghost Rider and the DemonSeed that is the Pumpkin Prince. Morbius has tried to feed on the Pumpkin Prince but almost died as the Demon’s blood tried to burn his soul.

He is capable of energy absorption and projection and has practiced with psionic abilities.


History :

Rama-Tut was a rogue Egyptian Pharoah, living almost four thousand years ago, who was trying to conquer all of Egypt. After winning a decisive battle he ordered a great palace built on the scene of his victory, only for the excavations to uncover a massive alien ship buried in the sand. The slaves were ordered in first in case of traps, one of the slaves was a pregnant woman who went into labor inside the ship. She gave birth in one of the ship’s chambers, the child being born woke up the ship, who was a sentient Celestial vessel, who studied the child and bathed it in energy as it was being born. The ship then once more fell silent.

Rama-Tut decided the ship was a gateway to the Gods and built a temple around it instead. He built his palace close by, the child who had been born in the ship grew up to be one of the slaves that helped build the palace, his name was En Sabah Nur.

Around the age of puberty En Sabah Nur’s skin turned grey, his fellow slaves just thought he was ill and would soon die. Soon after his mother refused the advances of a guard and was beaten to death, En Sabah Nur later attacked and killed the guard. He was condemned to death and was sacrificed in the Temple. He was impaled on a sword and his body was left as an offering to the Gods.

His blood flowed through the stoneworks until it dripped onto the Celestial ship buried underneath the Temple. The blood was still infused with Celestial energy which once more woke the ship up. The ship resurrected En Sabah Nur and teleported him inside where it both studied and taught him. The ship taught him about the sciences and also taught him about his unique physiology, En Sabah Nur first heard the word mutant and became fascinated with the science of evolution. He strongly identified with the theory of the strongest surviving after his life as a slave, and after learning of other far more advanced races amongst the stars he resolved to help the world grow strong so it could survive.

En Sabah Nur restyled himself as the Coming Apocalypse, the ultimate test for mankind. With the help of the ship, who had come to view Apocalypse as its own child, he built a battle suit that could channel the energies of the Celestial ship. His first test of this suit would be to ravage Rama-Tut’s army and take Rama-Tut prisoner. He conducted experiments on the Pharaoh to ascertain the extents of mankind’s possible evolution. He uncovered the mutant gene laying dormant in Rama-Tut and concluded that mankind was capable of anything, he resolved that after the Great Test the survivors would replace the God’s.

As Apocalypse was conducting his experiments on mankind he heard of a great war between nations, when he was told of some of the feats performed there he surmised that mutants must be responsible. He traveled to the scene of the war which turned out to be the Trojan War. Whilst there he battled Ares, the God of War, and after a bloody battle took the God as his prisoner. He later returned and took Hector and Achilles, who both turned out to be mutants, whilst they were dueling. With his three prisoners and Rama-Tut, Apocalypse created his first Horsemen. Hector would be transformed into the Eternal Archangel.

Apocalypse prepared to unleash his power on the world when he was confronted by a gathering of Olympian God’s seeking Ares release. Apocalypse’s battle suit proved too much for the Olympians though and they were on the verge of being killed when Zeus entered the fight. Zeus managed to cause a backlash of the suit’s Celestial energy which killed Apocalypse. The Horsemen were freed and the God’s took Apocalypse’s battle suit so no mortal could wield its power again, Apocalypse’s body had disappeared though. The Celestial Ship had teleported it back to the ship when he died and placed him in stasis and set about repairing the ravaged form.

The Celestial ship sent out subtle psionic messages and was rewarded when a nomadic clan arrived and began to worship Apocalypse’s body. When the Egyptian Pantheon was decimated by an unknown force, the path was clear to resurrect Apocalypse and ascend him to Godhood at the head of a new Egyptian Pantheon. The altar needed to perform the ritual though was now in a museum in the City of New York. The Priests also needed a strong soul to resurrect Apocalypse; they found it in the Punisher.

The Punisher had been mortally wounded and the Head of the Priest’s Order offered him immortality in exchange for his soul. By appealing to the Punisher’s thirst for vengeance the priest succeeded in convincing the Punisher to agree to the deal. The Punisher found out later that the deal also condemned his dead family’s souls who would be used to ascend Apocalypse to Godhood.

The Eternals discovered what was occurring and set out to stop Apocalypse who had been resurrected with the use of the Punisher’s soul. Even though Apocalypse was weak he still defeated Ikaris, Archangel and Exodus as they tried to stop him from ascending. As Apocalypse revelled in his power he opened a portal back to Ancient Egypt meaning to rule the past as well as the present, only for the Sword of Damocles, Kang’s ship, to spear through the two timelines as it crashed pinning the timelines together.

Apocalypse attacked Kang as the Conqueror attempted to fix the timeline, Kang was shot in the back by the Punisher as he and Apocalypse battled fiercely. Kang lost control of the timestream and Apocalypse was dragged into it and flung through time. To date there are no indications where the incredibly powerful Apocalypse has ended up.

John Apostle was born in the heartland of America. His father was a preacher and his mother a school teacher. John grew up a firm believer in the greatness of America. He believed in family, friends, community and hard work. He was an A student in high school and then went on to college where he joined many organizations and went on to become class president. He was a natural leader and people soon flocked to him. He has an uncanny ability to make people believe in him simply with the power of his words. After graduating college at the top of his class with a degree in political science, John later founded the group, America's Future, an organization dedicated to preserving American and family values. There has been much controversy surrounding America's Future with some accusations of it being almost cult like as well as mysteries about it's charismatic leader. Despite that, the organization has grown from a few hundred to now numbering in the millions. There has been recent talk of Apostle running for President of the U.S.
