I'm curious to see if Casey's Last Defenders will co-exist with Fraction's new Defenders as judging from Casey's Vengeance the former still seems like an on-call team. Also loved seing Lyra in Chen's AA spread. Good news for She-Hulk fans of all colors.

That Children's Crusade art from Cheung is outstanding. Sometimes trade-waiting can be a real chore.

I was just about to post about that pic as well! I wish Cheung could be on a monthly.

Then we got to thinking, "What next?" Over in "Fear Itself," we had seven Hammer-wielders wreaking havoc around the globe, one of which was the Hulk, amped up and destroying everything in his sight. This presented a bit of a problem; f the Hulk killed anyone during the story -- and it was impossible he wouldn't, right? -- he'd have to be held accountable afterwards, right? I mean, no one would buy "Uhm -- those 10,000 people I killed. Not my fault -- mind control" as an excuse.

As usual, they at Marvel will go with the old "Hulk=Bad while Thing=good" suggestion.

TO me I want to see something that affects the FF in a way that could make them question Ben's purpose on the team.

That's what we're building toward in 2012 -- an event that encompasses all the Marvel heroes, where they all have an equal role and stake in the outcome.
So how long did the whole "mini-Event" thing last at Marvel?

This Avengers Academy art is very intesresting!

So the Sentinel mini series is in continuity now?
I spot Lyra (she's not an ARMOR agent anymore?), Rocket Racer, the Loners minus Namie (why?), Power Man, Spider Gril, Batwing, Butterball, White Tiger... Nice!

Except for... what's Hawkeye doing here? I hope he's not the regular teacher! He's already in an Avengers book, he doesn't need to be in two while characters like Monica Rambeau are reduced to some guest appearances as Firestar's BFF.

Really? So recent/underexploited characters will matter too? I mean, other than being redshirts?

It looks like Thundra to me instead of Lyra. I can't believe that they're using the wheelchair mutant from Inferno. Glad somebody remembered him.

It's Lyra. She's got that shoulder pad and bracers and knee pads.
