He died because his brand of nihilism and anger sucked and was offputting/boring. I never liked him and was glad when he died.

And you're only seeing what you want to see, Hope never even wanted to be the Mutant Messiah, it was a role that was forced on him. Stop seeing racism in everything.

"And you're only seeing what you want to see,..." Heed your own advice. It seems that you've confused your contempt for the character as the reason for his death.

Forced or not, it was a role that she abused, using it as a means to control and domesticate the lights and teach them her messianic ways.

So here the only question is which will be the next X-book he is going to honor with his presence.
This is exactly what I figured. Every bit of him is sentient, and if even a toe survied, or a drop of blood, he can come back. I hope his first act upon his return is to disembowel Doug Ramsey.
Thus do I write the first chapter of my new scripture. And the first verse is "Let it all burn."

I think you are likely to get punched out if you try to tell Koreans or chines that Japanese was forced to occupy them and commit atrocities that rival Hitlers. I know that would be a likely reaction from my Wife and most of her family. I think the reactions in Vietnam and the Philippines would be just as harsh

Added Japan started waging war against Koreans before WWI occupying them and enforcing a murderous regien of terror, the Invaded China in 1931 and did the same there, The rape of Nanking was in 1937 and was not forced on japan by anything their own malignant culture

Nothing more annoying than seeing someone "argue" with posts made a year ago, as if we've been waiting all along for you to come along and give us your little anecdotes about your wife.
