Didn't DC do Infamous and Assassin Creed comics already?
Also aren't they doing Uncharted comic now too?
God of War should have been the most awesome comic of the year. DC dropped the ball on that one, big time. Light on story and the artwork was murky and bad. They could have taken screen captures from the game and it would been 100% better.
I would love to see a game based on the Psychonauts, that old awesome PS2 title. Also, there was a fairly average game way back on the PSOne that would have made an awesome game, Blasto.
I also would have loved to see a Crash Bandicoot comic. Toe Jam and Earl. Earthworm Jim (I remember they had promo comics, and there was even a TV show, but an ongoing title would be awesome!)
And going way, way back, comics based on some of the old Lucasarts games would also be very welcome. Most notably Zak McCracken and the Alien Mindbenders, Maniac Mansion (and Matt Loux did some AWESOME fan comics of that for Life Meter) and the sequel, Day of the Tentacle.
Oh, and a Monkey Island comic would ROCK. (So would a movie actually. Like Pirates of the Caribbean, but funnier!) :D
I don't have any next gen consoles, so I'm afraid I can't be any more relevant than that. ;)
An Uncharted comic you say?
Like, uh...
(;
What I loved was that it's an Adam Hughes cover... and over at IGN, when it debuted, it was savaged.
Different strokes crack me up!
Anyway, the mini's coming out soon from DC.

I can think of several games that would make great comics:
The "Red Dead" series. The world could use some more western comics.
Castlevania: I know if was done before as a mini-series but a multi-generational take on it could be very cool.
Zelda: I think it's time for it to make a comeback (and not as a manga)
World of WarCraft: Yeah. Yeah. I know but how about a series that wasn't so hung up on the lore of the world and just focused on cool characters having awesome adventures rather than spotlighting whatever the current expansion pack for the game was pushing.
Tomb Raider: Some people might say that Lara is a bit long in the tooth but I wouldn't mind seeing some new comics with good stories (somebody get Rucka on the horn)
Bloody Roar: Call me crazy but I'd read it.
I'd perfectly see a DEAD HEAD FRED comics by Mike Mignola.
And a movie as well..
by Terry Gilliam.
oh yes.

Zelda already had some comics, but they were more in line with the old cartoons. I'd love to see DC do a Zelda comic. Or any of Nintendo's big franchises.
METROID!!!
They've done Manga books for Metroid, but a Western-style comic about Samus Aran would be sweet. Especially considering that the Metroid franchise is more popular in the west than in Japan, which is somewhat strange for a Nintendo franchise. Not to mention that, unlike Mario and Zelda, the Metroid games actually have a proper continuity that each game fits into.
Prince of Persia would have made an interesting comic series. A comic adaptation of Bayonetta would be pretty freakin' sweet, as would No More Heroes.
Do you want fries with that? WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?!
The Insanity of Sasuke Uchiha
The No-Life King was both shocked and enraged when he eventually made his way outside and found Seras sparkling in the sunlight. “Police Girl, what do you think you're doing?!” Alucard bellowed, causing Seras to emit a surprised 'gasp'. “Stop that this instant!”
“Oh... M-Master, I-I was just... just...”
“You were sparkling!!!” Alucard shouted.
The Truth about FF
Based on owning them, I'll go ahead and say yes, there were already inFamous and Assassin's Creed comics. Despite picking them up sometimes, game comics put me off. Especially for games like Mass Effect where you normally have a say in how your character acts.
Though, have to say that the cover art that comes out of them is awesome. Like Jim Lee on Gears of War...
Ashley Wood illustrating adaptations of Metal Gear Solids 3 and 4.
That is all.
I think Deus Ex has great comic book potential.
