Or--completely unrelated to that possibility--perhaps Johann is lying about this. He knew that Abe was keeping Ben a secret... maybe he's holding a grudge. Maybe he doesn't trust that Abe really is on the BPRD's side. Maybe he just wants a fishy body to steal.
Or maybe Panya's controlling him the way LoJo did...

I'm holding out for all of those, tbh... I wouldn't have said it before but I admit I can see Johann pulling this now. Not so sure about Panya, though, she seemed at least amused if not fond of him in the few interactions they've had... though it seems they've only actually talked during Garden of Souls? Huh. Yeah, Panya really is a big question mark at the moment. We know next to nothing about her. I look forward to a miniseries with her as a main character, one where we can finally get a glimpse into what makes her tick... but with so many things going on at the moment, it's hard to imagine the time to slow down to do this. I think we'll be guessing about her for a long time yet.

Iosif! Oh my god, it's Iosif! That was so cool!
I really liked seeing Visily and Iosif again. And as horrible as Iosif looks, it's an improvement since last we saw him. I had a blast with this story all the way through.
And damn Wikileaks!

I'm excited to see how his return to Russia was, I hope we get to see his reunion with his wife, though I doubt it went as he had hoped.
I think my biggest hope is to see Varvara again.
