This is my first post b/c Im just getting back into comics...hadnt read them in years, seen a shop and walked in. The first thing I see is DD 10 and have since bought all the previous issues and tore through them! When I seen that cover it was like a work of art! I wish I could own that piece b/c to me its a true piece of art! Cant wait for the rest of the series and I hope it continues to live up to the hype!

Is there some kind of "Essential" daredevil trade list anywhere?

    Like the main storylines etc

    The stories all DD fans will tell you to read are;

    The Man Without Fear
    Born Again
    Bendis' run
    Brubaker's run

Frank Miller's run (including Born Again and Man Without Fear)
Guardian Devil (the start of modern DD)
    Bendis' run
Brubaker's run (direct continuation of Bendis' run)

I would add the Typoid Mary storyline to the list as well since she shows up in Bendis' run. Not to mention that it's just a really good story as well.

10 Issues. 10 Great Comics. Here's hoping we get 10 (or 20? or even 50?) more.
Issue 10 was one of the best comics I've read in awhile. Matt's being able to "let go" of his bottled up feeling for Jack Murdoch -- it's this giant catharsis that really just reinforces Waid's direction to move the tone forward past the Bendis/Brubaker years. Just good stuff.

Just read 10.1. Loved it! It's one of the best comics on the shelves in my opinion. But. I'm currently debating getting The Omega Effect (obviously I'll get DD #11 though!) simply because I'm trying to buy less comics (financial reasons) and I'm not sure I can justify getting Avenging Spider-Man and Punisher (even though it's for one issue each...)...kind of annoying...hmm

But still. I'm loving this series
Avengers Arena is one of the best books in the shops right now, it's seriously amazing.

    Show Teddy some love!

Get 'em. If you don't like them, I will buy them back from you.

Will the Avenging Spider-Man and Punisher issues be collected in the DD trade?

If you aren't getting the Spidey and Punisher issues then I'm not sure there'd be much point in getting the DD issue, since everything I've heard about the event is that the three books play out as three chapters to one story.

i don't normally buy punisher. unless its punisher and daredevil. its like peanut butter and chocolate. strangely out of all the omega effect books its the punisher issue that I'm excited for the most

lots of DD mixed in with the avengers this week. its different seeing him playing with iron man and spider man in the avengers mansion back yard
