Oh nooooo! Ralph Macchio can't retire! <sob>
Congrats to Ralph! He's always been my favorite editor!
An enjoyable interview with our new EIC! Good and well thought answers throughout!
Does this mean that Tom B is out of the interview chair for now?
not only will he be joining Ed Brubaker for a storyline in "Captain America" in a few short months
The best news
Maybe there's a silent majority that tells Marvel what it wants outside of CBR's forums.
Johnny Storm was dead; who is this resurrected Johnny Storm?
"Here, hold my Annihilus…" Johnny Storm, Fantastic Four #601
As an Ultimate fan, this is exactly what I want to hear. Also, those preview pages look amazing. I can't wait for Ultimate Reborn to begin.- if a bomb explodes in one title, fans want to see the mushroom cloud in another. Under our current game plan, we're going to do just that.
X-O Manowar. Harbinger. Bloodshot. Archer & Armstrong. Swamp Thing. Dial H. Captain Marvel. Hit-Girl. Saga. Prophet. Read my reviews of these and more at The Comic Book Couple!
Nice to see some Epting FF art! Can't wait for that.
Did not realize that Five Ronin had done so well for them. But I'm all for mini-series, as that seems to be the only place we'll get to see most of Marvel's characters.

Funny that Alonso talked so much about not wanting to milk the Ultimate and FF franchise. Why the same doesn't apply to X-men an Avengers books?
Let's be honest. They don't launch more FF and Ultimate books because they know those franchises wouldn't support many books for too long. X-men and Avengers can, so Marvel launches as many series of those franchises as they possibly can.
Top 3: Batman, Wonder Woman, X-force
Wow so whats happening now mods? You're deleting negative posts on behalf of Marvel. Is that what this site has become now.
O_o
If you want to get into those kind of semantics ... Marvel is SELLING their books to a distributor, who then sells them to a LCBS. I'm pretty sure Marvel knows how many books they sold to the distributor, since that's how they get paid.
My minuscule voice (which is still far more important than any complaints I post on these boards as far as Marvel is concerned) shows up in pre-orders from my LCBS to the distributor who then BUYS my favorites from Marvel.
