Just reread the last issue. Replaced every mention of the word "Guidance Counselor" with "Juggernaut". It was funny.

haha. Yeah, it doesn't really bother me. No one's ever requested outright porno (though I'm sure I just jinxed it by saying that). I've yet to turn down a racy sketch request, but if I ever got one that was too blatant, I might have to decline. But like I said, I don't mind portraying the girls in a sexy manner in the book--the commissions can get a little more suggestive, and in that context, it's fine.
Awesome! We do enjoy trampling on minds. :) Very glad you enjoyed it!
That sounds like the way to go about it Joe. A little cheesecake never hurt anyone but if it get's a little too risque.... That probably would not be too fun eh?
Joe I just was looking through Previews from last month and took a closer look at the solicit for the ultimate MG collection - Hunter's choice of covert reading material is pretty hilarious! Very meta of you!
PULL: Chew, Walking Dead, Saga, Locke & Key, Batman, Batman Inc, Bedlam, Hellboy in Hell, Luther Strode, Jupiter's Legacy, East of West
Speaking of Rodin... Get him over here. He makes some pretty damn impressive covers. In fact, I actually discovered this book a While before it was announced because of Rodin's Deviant Art account.
Big day today- MORNING GLORIES v2 made the New York Times Bestseller List.

99 cent sale just kicked off on Comixology. First issue is still free, meaning you can get all 12 issues for under 11 bucks. Obviously, if you're in this thread, you probably already had them, but this is a great way to get your friends to try the book.
I picked up the first issue on Comixology on a whim a few weeks ago and loved it. Got the next two issues (haven't gotten around to reading #3 yet) but was trying to spread them out due to finances. The $.99 sale was too good to pass up, though, so now I have issues 4-12 waiting for me when I get home! It really is a great series, a good hook and memorable characters. As someone who has primarily read superhero books I'm really glad I'm getting into series like this, Infinite Vacation, and others.
I just gor the first 12 in the Comixology sale, first time reader. (Issue 1 wasnt free, wtf!?)
Read the first few...
This is good stuff :D
Cant wait for more.
Ill probably pick up the hardcover in december too.
I just wanna say to Nick that this series is fantastic!!! It reminds me of Runaways by Brian K. Vaughan and that is one of my favorite comic series (only when he is writing it). Anyways what I love about this series is that each main character has his or her own personality through the dialouge especially and the art. That's why it reminds me of Runways in one way cuz the characters have such distinct personalities that I care for each one and I only read the first trade. I have trade 2 and will be reading that sometime soon. This is my favorite comic coming out right now and I buy a lot. Runaways was my favorite but Brian K. Vaughan left it and it became a total mess and now it ain't even coming out no more.
My favorite comics are...
New X-men by Grant Morrision
X-force/X-statix by Peter Milligan
Runaways by Brian K. Vaughan
and
Morning Glories by Nick Spencer
I hope your Ultimate X-men title is as great as Morning Glories or even better cuz i'm going to pick that up in trade too when it's available.
Anyways later
