At least Bendis is doing something that should have been covered in the first place, showing a bit of Steve's reactions to Bucky's "Demise." Unlike SOME OTHER WRITERS OF MARVEL that we know.
Stupid movie promotions.![]()

Steve should take full responsibility for Bucky dying. He put him on this path. I'm glad to see Bendis really focusing in on that concept.
Check out the O.A.W. Report at www.majinoaw.blogspot.com. You want to see why I say the things I do or understand what's in my head... this is the place to go.
Who are the two women in the first page? I like the artist, but he gives women really awkward faces.
If I were to guess, I'd say one is the Wasp, the other Black Widow, but this makes absolutely no sense, since one is dead and the other no longer sports that look. Some people say that there are flashbacks in the interviews, but that doesn't make sense also, because Hercules is talking about something current, while sporting his old look. Go figure.
Peace
I don't know guys.
Fear Itself comes out during a Summer when Marvel has both a Captain and a Thor movie coming out and folks here seem genuinely shocked that said event is Cap, Thor and Shellhead (who is gonna be in the next flick) centered to the near exclusion of all else.
The only reason to do FI at all was cause of the movies. That is the entire point of the thing. Cross promotion.
I don't understand why anybody expected different.
I really don't.![]()
And of course Bucky bore no responsibility whatsoever for his own decisions, but was completely a puppet doing whatever Steve thought he should do. Of course, by that same token, he gets no credit for being brave and courageous, either, it being all Steve.
You did mean 'full' rather than 'partial', right?
Captain America preview looks good. The Jimmy Jupiter angle is nice to see and McNiven is the best artist on any Marvel monthly right now (...and as of now...please don't be late...). Heads and tails above the Cap & Bucky series. At least Bucky got named checked in this issue.

Great artwork by Mcniven and poor artwork by JRJR...
Top 10: Hawkguy, GIJoe Cobra, The Massive, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Fury MAX, The Black Beetle, Batman, Winter Soldier, Suicide Squad, and The Activity.
