Why is the reboot Cosmic Boy shown?
Love me some Levitz.
(And seriously, what was the deal with those other two wizards?)

Looking forward to this. I've enjoyed the Adventure/Academy story, but feel the main book's been meandering a bit through the latest storyline. I think the relaunch will be a good shot in the arm to get the series back on track.
I'm really looking forward to this, but also slightly apprehensive about who is going to be left in the team.
Paul mentions that as well as the "Legion Lost" members (Dawnstar, Wildfire, Tellus, Tyroc, Chameleon Girl, Timber Wolf) not being in it, other members resign as a consequence of believing them to be dead. That sounds like a dead cert Colossal Boy will be gone if he thinks his wife is dead & I get a feeling Saturn Girl & Lightning Lad will be out of it if their children are still in continuity.
BUT ANYWAY!! It's Paul Levitz, it's the Legion & as long as Shadow Lass is there, I will be very, very happy.
I do look forward to seeing what Levitz does with the Superboy question. Virtually anything would be better than the clusterf*ck Byrne handed him the last time.
I'm glad Dragonwing and Chemical Kid are going to be around, but now I can't remember the other legion recruits that were there- I'd like to see them as well.
From the Academy: NightWind, Lamprey and Power Boy all graduated and moved to non-Legion jobs.
As per the last issue:
spoilers:end of spoilers
Variable Lad is Dead, and Gravity Kid quit
So that leaves Comet Queen, Glorith, Chemical Kid and Dragonwing as recruits. Although Comet Queen hasn't been announced as a new member, so she might not make the cut.
Levitz always seems like one of the nicest guys in comics to me. It's great to have him back on Legion.
I can't believe Legion Lost is long for the world. They tried this stuff before with Timber Wolf, remember? When was that, Zero Hour? I give it 10 issues max, and then those characters will back in the fold.
Looking forward to this title, especially for the Portela art.

As much as I enjoyed Fabian N. on Thunderbolts and New Warriors, I have to agree. Most of my favorite Legionnaires are going to be in the past, so I hope it's a short trip. I was thinking it would be a 12-issue maxi when it was first announced, and that feels about right. Sure, send one or two members back for a spell, but not every non '-Kid', '-Lad', '-Lass', '-Boy' or '-Girl' on the team!
I think the Legion should sport some future fashions. Stop dressing like we do now. Gerry Anderson knew the drill in UFO. Purple wigs and futuristic outfits. Its one of the BEST sci-fi TV shows ever, right next to Space: 1999. Another Anderson creation.

And no question on how Supergirl relates to this legion. They do remember she's a part of it right?
