Any chance the spiky blob next to Anole is Warlock, back again from the New Mutants?
Not sure who the only recognizably female character is. Seems like longer hair than Jubilee. Dazzler? Magma?

Havok and Rachel Grey are pretty obvious in this. Also...someone low to the ground with a tail on the lower left. Nightcrawler return already?
I do agree though...if Emma and Wolverine are leading X-Men I'm not reading either of these books. Just not that interested in either of them or what their type of characters mean for the X-Men in general.
