I love Mpreg. Yes. Yes I do.
But I have only read 4 Gambit Mpreg fictions. 1 just a silly pure humor one that was not even funny. The 2 were extremely confusing but I still craved for more and the last was actually pretty well done. Its so hard to find a good fan fiction let alone a good Remy Mpreg fan fic. So I thank you fan fiction writer you make this gals strange fetish (sp) come true.

I also love the abuse and rape stuff. All Gambit of course. I'm a fan girl and admit it.

Oh you should see the fan fictions that are out there. Not all are badly written, okay I'll admit the content is very WTF-ish but many of the authors can actually write and pull you into their world. As one of those LYKE OMG KAWAII NEKO CHAN fan girls I am I can accept such worlds as long as they are written semi decent.

I never use rape in my stories, either. The only time I come close is in BDSM stories featuring dominant females and submissive males. For instance, there's an Emma Frost/Iceman story I'm working on--I am not allowed to say more!

Have any ideas ever migrated from fan fiction to actual Marvel canon? I haven't read all of the Darkstar Wars yet--was some parts of that really incorporated into Marvel?

The only way anyone at Marvel could come close to admitting inclusion of fan fiction in their stories is if the fanfic author was subsequently contracted as a writer. Otherwise, Marvel would be vunerable to law suit for stealing the fanfic writer's ideas.

IIRC when Marjorie Liu was writing fanfic, she put Gambit a mentor-protege relationship with Penance analogus to Wolverine and Jubilee. Now she's officially writing X-23, we see Gambit in a similar situation with Laura. Take from that what you will.

I don't get it either(saying that as a long term Gambit fangirl), but there is a subcult of mostly female writers that focus completely on it. Plenty of stories with Xavier and Magneto, Iceman, etc. Lots of Wolverine though usually its his partner that has all the "problems" happen to them so he can be the big strong understanding protective one. That part actually makes me WTF more than anything. Wolverine? Not being the rat bastard anger ridden jerk he is to people and hanging around for anyone or not being the abused one like he couldn't be abused except by getting adamantium. I can't follow the logic but obviously there are fans.
