I write it all the time. I have a notebook at work where I not only draw/doodle in it, but when I get a story idea, I write it down. Sometimes they're good, sometimes not so much.

Here are some panels from my X-men Supreme fanfiction series. These were commissioned from a very generous artist named Brian Brinlee. I have more on my website, but I think this would be an appropriate thread to share them in.

I've read a couple of fanfictions over the years, not an awful lot though. I remember I once had a huge fascination with reading fanfiction stories based around Northstar and Iceman as a couple. Obviously I've read a few about Jean but a lot of those stories were Jott shipper stories, (makes me sick, lol... :P). After Scott's affair with Emma and with obviously being a Phoenix fan (duh! :P), I just can't stand Cyclops any more...as most people probably know by now. XP

I once read a fan-fic called Phoenix Forced involving an intimate relationship between Jean Grey and Rachel Summers...

In any case, I intend to at one point write a fanfic of the adult variety focusing on Polaris. Unlike a lot of my fics, when I do it, I expect it'll be nicer, cleaner and not contain quite as many unusual concepts. I tend to come up with weird stuff.

I did searching around for fic too, mostly adult kind, but some normal stuff as well. One I saw had the idea of Lorna being her own grandma, sent back in time to give birth to Magneto. Another had all the X-men exposed to a virus that affected their behavior in a certain way, resulting in Lorna and everyone else playing the field relationship-wise. And another was more story than adult situations, with a Gambit and Polaris relationship given. That one was by someone that was awesome enough and willing to write a fic using Polaris after I told him I was keeping a close eye on his stuff for when/if Lorna showed up. The cool part to me was that he said he partly based the fic on the Wolverine and the X-men version of Lorna since he didn't really know comics Lorna; it's proof that as I've said before, if Marvel put more effort into putting her name and face out there, they'd get tons of new readers.

Oh, and of course you have ones created around 2000 or before, and those ones tended to have Lorna in a relationship with either Alex or the lowest of lowly, disgusting, pathetic villains.

I haven't really seen any adult situation fics of Lorna possessed/evil (I'm not counting the ones mentioned above which were mind control to make her accept such a partner), strong or in a good position in general.

I think it's OK to talk about adult stuff as long as we don't go into graphic detail. Mods, care to clarify? I liked Polaris the most when she was in X-Factor--there may be a story in the obvious attraction Random felt for her. I'd love it if she fell for him and his influence made her start dressing in black leather and cut her hair real short! And put me down for a Polaris/Magneto story! Do let us know when you put out your Polaris story, salarta! And I want more details about the weird stuff you come up with! ^_^

The other, X-Men: Discord, was just 72 pages of mutant sex--Jean/Logan, Rogue/Colossus, etc. The Storm/Mystique thing was weird--that's all I can say about that!

Most US fan works are put online rather than printed out; probably helps avoid legal hassles.

Anyone else notice that most fan-fiction involves relationships? I'd like to see Storm's obvious attraction to Yuriko back in the day spun into a story.

Looks interesting. The only problem I have with this is Iceman wearing a costume. I like it better when Bobby ices up and gads about naked. =P

What are the rules regarding sexual themes and swearing on that site, VK?

you have to rate the fics if I recall correctly, Pg 13, R, etc.
