X-Men fan fiction

Man, I love me some fan fiction! The good ones--like Kid Dynamo--are amazing! The bad ones are...well, actually, they're pretty good too!

I've been browsing the X-Men stories over at FanFiction; some awesome, others less awesome. My questions to you are:

1) Have you, or do you plan to, contribute any X-Men fan fiction? What's your story(or stories ) about? I plan to eventually post an Exiles story I got stuck in my head....

2)what stories would you reccomend? This includes stories from the adult section of that site...

I'm also talking about stories found at other storyboards. Links, please!

3)What are some of the cheesiest, over the top awful fan-fiction you've encountered? Links, please!

I've written a fan fiction called "Just Another Mutant". It's about a young sexy omega level Scottish mutant who visits Utopia and helps save the X Men from their scariest foe yet! In order to pay their respects, the X Men have this mutant become their new leader. They all remark how I - I mean he - is better than Cyclops and then Rogue dumps Magneto for him.

1. i thought about one, even plan on drawing the x-men in different designs. partly involving an idea of what if xavier worked for apocalypse, the twelve storyline (which god knows needed to be fixed) and what if the original team and the new x-men all remained on the team.

2. there's this one i read of the new mutants which makes me see cypher and when kitty and the new mutants were placed in Emma's school.

3. cheesy would be this sex fanfic between Northstar and Juggernaut. too much

Yeah I like some fanfiction, but don't like a lot of it. Too many stories just randomly joining characters as long lost lovers to each other for no reason. Some really good stuff though. Esecially some character stuff, as its easier to do in prose than in comic books.

I'm glad someone started a thread like this. I've been writing my own X-men fanfiction series since last year. The link is in the signature in every one of my posts. I've had a lot of fun with it. I've made my own custom website for it, complete with commissioned artwork. I treat it like it's own continuity, as if I'm writing an Ultimate X-men type series from the beginning. I update it biweekly and I'm very proud of some of the stories I've done thus far. I have big plans to do more and I'm always looking to share it with others.
