Well Superman: Earth One was a massive success selling over 90 thousand copies and getting closer and closer to 100 thousand copies sold. :) Scott Pilgrim, The Walking Dead, Kick-Ass and so forth increased in sales due to movies/tv adaption and even the prelude to Death of Spider-Man hardcover raised in sales with Spidey's death, its gonna be intriquing how nicely the actual DoSM sells, bucketlouds is an easy guess Mark Bagley and Bendis doing Spidey's death? $$$$$$

I just don't trades now and then are the kind of revenue Marvel and DC wanna downgrade to compared to monthly sales, alot of people would lose their jobs, not to mention both DC/Marvel are abit snobby with their trade pricing, wheres Image/Dark Horse make more encouraigng prices like Invisible 0-47 issue trade being pretty much, what? 40 dollars? 60 Dollars?

    Batman Incorporated #8 tomorrow. :)

Yea all of these comic book movies are definitely helping the companies out. The sales of titles like 300, V for Vendetta, Watchment, and all of the other blockbusters like that have to be through the roof by now.

Marvel and DC do overprice their trades when compared to Image. The Walking Dead TPB's are $9.99 a piece. I haven't looked at Invincible, but I think they're around $50 for the compendium collection. Go Image!

Not only is Batman, Inc #8 coming out tomorrow, but Ultimates #1 is as well! I live about 40 minutes from my LCS so I try to keep my trips at a minimum, but I have to pick up some art supplies for school before Thursday so I might as well make the trip up. ;)
Ultimate Comics • Aquaman • Batman • Batman, Inc. • Batman and Robin • Justice League • Wonder Woman • Star Trek Ongoing • The Dream Merchant • Morning Glories • Saga • The Wake

Yeah, because Loeb's awful characterizations, ridicilously poor plotting with incredibly dumb villains, dumber plans and the dumbest heroes is exactly what Hickman is channeling, not Mark Millar.

And you need to convince an user why it's a bad film withouth spoiling it, but holding a proper argument why the movie is flawed and not enjoyable.

    Anyhow:

Where did I say that? I didn't. I said Loeb's work was energetic, fun, and actiony and so is Hickman's.

Actually, you enjoyed the Transformers trilogy, go do whatever, I didn't like it but it didn't piss me off.

Yes because when we think about energetic, we think of mindless random action that serves close to no purpose, when we think of fun we think about women getting attempt raped, Tony being a drunk douché with 0 playfulness to be seen, when i think about fun i definately think about a man eating woman, Thor being an emotional wuss whos dumber than a goat's turd, Hawkeye losing all his characterics in favour for being someone who wants to die in the field because his family was dead, it took Millar & Bendis to finally get Hawkeye back to himself.

Actiony? Yeah Millar's Ultimates provided way more action and with proper meanings instead of "group fight!". Hickman's Ultimates #1 gives us political tension, comedy between the Ultimates and a mastermind villain, right up there with Millar's alley. Tho yes i did enjoy all the action shots in New Ultimates, Frank Cho's monster army and dragons seemed pretty fun.

I enjoyed them for what they we're, doesn't mean i didn't consider them bad movies.

    Sounds pretty energetic to me.

Continue the scene and you get to the fun. Pyro getting his hand chopped off was awesome!

He just had his butler and and a sex tape of his traitorous ex-fiance was released to the public, I don't even drink and I would be drinking.

I watch cannibal and zombie films just for that, because I find it fun.

You keep saying this and the emotional wuss was Millar writing him. Thor shouldn't be a hippie.

The Ultimates should be like what Ultimates 3, Ultimatum, New Ultimates, and Ultimate Avengers were, wall to wall action! Hickman is delivering that.
