Scurlogg_Hawkk - I appreciate your support! I have gotten a publisher nibble, I'll report back if it works out. It's not one of the "big three" but they seem to be respectable enough.

Believe me, I agree about the 3D industry. Everyone's got their big idea. When I was in, I saw a few older guys still dreaming about making their movie. It's been a while and I haven't heard of anyone breaking out yet. I saw a couple guys put up a project on Kickstarter recently. You can see how that worked out here - Link.

Yeah, they've done the work to have good careers and upper middle class incomes, but they didn't do the work to build fanbase. I'm doing the work to build fanbase. I can't afford to drive my car or go to the doctor, but my story is getting told and word is spreading. It's too soon to say I made the right bet, but things are looking better. I don't think I would have made it working within the system.

Last Son - I'd like to see the first one, for sure.

It looks like XTIN has found a publisher. I'll say more
when things are formalized, but so far it's looking good. It won't make
me wealthy but it's another step in the right direction. Thanks to
everyone who supported the comic and helped me get this far!

Scurlogg_Hawkk - Man, I haven't had alcohol in ages. One of those things that had to get cut to make the comic possible.

What I listen to when reading XTIN is the Robert Rich album "A Troubled Resting Place." It's dark ambient, no singing just creepy soundscapes.

I've got a few tracks composed for XTIN by Jason Alberts of Sumosound. One fits XTIN especially well, but it's not long enough to read the comic too.

This is possibly the hardest page to write of the bunch, thus the late posting. I sat down to work on it early enough, but it took hours and hours to figure out Taonui.

Try them and tell me how close are they to the mood of Xtin :The Dragon's Dreamworld.

This is awesome stuff. Really striking and beautiful in a Hellraiser sort of way. Really good stuff. Any plans for print?

heavyweapon - I've been talking to a publisher, but print is so, so dead. It's much worse than I thought it would be. I might go that way but I'm going to look at a couple other things first.

I guess I'm just hopelessly stuck in the past. I like to have real books...as beatiful as your stuff looks on my screen, it would be awesome to have a physical copy, ya know?

But I totally understand. I'm having enough trouble trying to get my graphic novel off the ground as it is. :p

heavyweapon - I did not know this but apparently you can buy home printers today that can do "duplex printing-" printing both sides of a page at once. I'm looking into the possibility of buying one that can do 11X17 and rolling my own books, or at least pamphlets. May be the best way to go at it.
