I may have a few pages of the "next" comic ready to post in a week. It's not the XTIN sequel, which is proving to be an epic time drain. I've had these other ideas knocking around in my head and I decided to jot them down while I'm trying to make XTIN work.

The new comic is in the same vein as FLCL and Tenchi Muyo!, a big change from XTIN. American comic guys probably won't like it. Unlike everything else I've done before, I think you can tell what's going on from the first page. It's much more general interest, anyone over 12 should be able to relate to it. The premise of the comic should have everyone thinking, "Yeah, that makes sense. That would explain the central problem of my life." In a humourous way.

Maybe I should go draw another page so it can launch next week.

Let me put it this way, it's too bad Sam Raimi wasted his life on Xena, Hercules, and Spider-Man instead of making more Evil Dead movies.

I wish he'd made a few different decisions with Xena. The costume she wore most of the time didn't suit her body type at all, and the middle eastern war whoop sounded goofy.

I think this will be cool for me to see what you can do with different genre that far far far different from the current work you do .
