I read the first issue on one go. I'm good for now.

Man.. your work is quite disturbing! But in a good way, in my opinion. I was blown away.. I love it when a new world I enter feels.. real, in its own way, when you don't see cracks in it, or stuff that shouldn't be there. When it is solid and interesting, and weird, and in your case - also beautiful and batsh** scary!

I will not claim I understood everything, I can see there are things that are meant for later, but this first issue.. well, you got me as a damn FAN and I say thank you for the opportunity to experience this unique and, yes, effin' beautiful work of yours!

The animation progresses, slowly but surely.

The rest of the comic is like the first issue but more disturbing. Rau and Sina are supposed to be more evil than the most evil real people. I've tried to push them further, but usually when I think I've gotten there I watch the news and find out I haven't.

You'll have a hard time finding real cracks in XTIN - things that don't make sense are part of the story. You'll find out why towards the end of chapter 2, and again in chapter 5. At the end of the book you don't know what really happened, but the madness was fun.

The first half of chapter 2 is the darkest part IMO. The rest is dark too but it gets more into the background of the universe and who Rau and Taonui are.

J.J. Abrams - directing Episode 7 - what do you think? I'm stuck on the fence. On the one hand, I enjoyed Star Trek and watched it a few times, which is more than I can say for Avatar. On the other hand, I still feel like Abram's Trek was a mistake and the franchise needs to be rebooted again.

Disney + Abrams + Arndt might make a good Star Wars, but it's more likely to be shallow kid's fare with pretty action. It should do well at the box office, but I'm not looking forward to it. I'm afraid we're going to find out, if the Enterprise is a submarine, the Millenium Falcon will be a Lavamarine. Or young Annie will have secretly programmed C3PO to clone him, should anything bad happen.

Abrams (Here the choice of Abrams is no brainer cause Abrams is working for Disney for a long time now )+ Disney(The one to rule them all and make cash cows everywhere the great octopus spread it's ugly tentacles over ) +Arndt might make a good Star Wars saga(3 more movies ) in the future .I think if the approach to the Star Wars Saga is the same one as Pirates of the Caribbean ,but with more fantasy in it and lightsaber duels .For one thing i am not sure will there be any new characters in it any expand universe characters in it too ,it will be good to see the old gang back together for a final showdown with the sith force even if it's bad as hell i will still go to the cinema to watch it .For the Star Trek issue here that i want to address here the first movie is written by huge trekkies Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman in the original script there were a scene that shows the original Captain Kirk/William Shatner/ send a holo message for the alternative universe Captain Kirk /Chris Pine/, but was cut from the script too bad.They can do good action movie with the Star Wars saga or good cult action movie with it , it can both ways .What do you wanna see in the movie/s of Star Wars .I wanna see Chuck Norris in the Star Wars movies (that is a joke :) )He was in all the Star Wars movies as the force :) :)

#1 thing that has to be in Episode VII - Mara Jade. Luke deserves to get laid. It wouldn't bother me if 7 opened with Luke in bed with Mara.

Timothy Zahn's books were good but not broad enough in scope for a new trilogy. I had a hard time believing Thrawn could win against the New Republic, with only a handful of Imperial class Star Destroyers. Kinda like suggesting Rommel could threaten post-war America with a battalion of tanks somewhere in Africa. They need an adversary that has a better chance at winning.

Pirates was fluff. I watched them all once and that was it. I'm not planning to buy them or watch them again. I would like a new dvd or blu-ray version of the original version of the original Star Wars trilogy however.

It will be a old Mara-Jade Skywalker in episode 7 if they do it maybe some kids a grown ups already the future of the force next generation of jedi masters ,they have to put in ,then there will be a lot of problem to introduce new characters and give them time to develop in front the watchful eye of the viewers .I want some Boba Fett action in it

True, if they follow the books she'd be old too - but would you rather Luke still be single?

Nah......that will not be the way of the jedi knight to boost and show-off .I want to see the Luke Skywalker of the countless games and books and playing it like a boss .Kyle Katarn will be cool to see him in action after so many games and books some live-action will be sight for a sore eyes .Do you know the number of characters of the Expanded Universe they can add and still make a great movie/s .I hope they add some .By the J.j. Abrams will take his time to make a great movie maybe 2015 ,maybe 2016 the summer date for the movie .He want to do good movie ,not some bad load of crap .

I believe I've come up with a solution for the "cultural appropriation" problem (if there was one) which is not too difficult to implement, and improves the story. If I change the High Priestess from black to Mandan, then the O'keepa is part of her ethnic/cultural history. It makes a Mandan the hero of the story, and she "wins" by performing the Mandan torture ceremony. It makes more obvious the comparison between Native American ideas of leadership, and modern feudalistic ideas of leadership, and endorses the former while throwing down the latter.

I'll have to redraw Avatea and change her name, but that's easier to do than replacing the O'keepa ceremony. I won't have a main black character anymore, but the sequel will be coming up soon.

I'm sure this will cause a little confusion for people who don't read the comments, but it's better than having to bury 200+ pages of work.
