Have you read "The Last Ringbearer?" It gets too cheeky in places but I liked it a bit better than "The Lord of the Rings."

I read Lord of the Rings and Hobbit before the movies comes out since i am old dog.I read Hobbit when i was teenager way back in 99 or 98 or early .... The Hobbit back then blow me away in pieces and then the Lord of the Rings it' was a fantastic journey through Middle-Earth .Then the movies came along the Fellowship of The Ring i watch with my brother and my mother on the DvD ,no money for Theater back then ...but it was so fun back then ...... the later movies i try to watch with my father but he fell asleep due to these movies are very long :) i was not eager to watch them and stayed awake .I was made to watch this kind of sagas .Epics in my mind .When i grow up a bit i found Robert Howard's Conan saga and Wheel of Time (Really work of Art )Robert Jordan R.I.P was a great writer in his own right 14 big books . I plan one day to own them all .

But there is that question is right to do sequel to Lord of the Rings .That is that little thing that rages inside of me .But if that sequel is good what then ....keep producing more and more .The Tolkien estate will hate the people that do such a thing .But i watch a Tolkien docu that he wants he's world to continue to live in minds of the people .Just like the myth/Legend/ different people add to the myth/LEGEND/After the Hobbit movies there will no more Lord of Rings movies said Peter Jackson .The Tolkien estate don't want any that is bad if u ask me there is so much stories in unpublished books that were published by the children of Tolkien after he's dead .

I'm no fan of copyright. We need a new system that rewards creative people when they are young and it will do them good, rather than rewarding a bunch of lawyers, businessmen, and other hanger-on types, long after the creator has passed. The way I see things going I'll end up with an early death living on the street, then some businessfuck will come along with his orphaned works law to steal what I did and make his fortune off of it.

I don't believe in aging or death. I believe in disrepair leading to non-function. If I see a thing that's broke, I fix it. It should be the same with people. I read about increasing numbers of scientists and doctors who foresee a time when medical science can repair all the damage of age, and death is reduced to extreme accidents like falling into the sun. However, because we are a society that lacks vision and boldness, I'm afraid we'll fall into a new social norm where the lower classes insist on death for themselves, and the upper classes will quietly go about getting their anti-aging treatments.

You are right on so many levels here that .....leaves me speechless .You won't die early you will die with the crown of kings and indiana jones's whip .I no fan of copyright too.I want people to see the possibility of telling long epics in same fiction universe like Tolkine's middle-earth that there is way both honor the author and the world and the fans .To stay truth to vision of author or challenge it like Nick Perumov or Kirill Yeskov .Good vs. Evil theme that Tolkien so romantically explore in fiction works ,but in real life there is no good ,nor evil there is thin shade that works for both way like in D&D the lawful good alignment doesn't work like it's supposed to and growing up you knowing that have to a bit scoundrel to live good that is the worse thing for me .You can't be the Holy Paladin that thing works only in the glorified fiction .Sorry i got distracted by my own mind again .That Hobbit movie is still in my system it'll take some time to flush it out of it .I will tell you this that never give up never back down keep it going and one day the wins will come to you .Did you check the link for Nick Perumov ?
