It was enjoyable, but nothing special. I imagine nothing will ever top the Christmas Carol one from two years back.

I have mixed feelings on the new companion. I feel like Moffat is trying too hard to point out "Omg look! Witty banter!"

The Go-Gos: I'm gonna spend My Christmas with a Dalek?!?

This is probably the worst Christmas song ever made. Who'd wanna spend Christmas with those homicidal pepperpots? They'd blow your bloody head off! Are there some of you in the UK who remember hearing this song when it was released?
Thus do I write the first chapter of my new scripture. And the first verse is "Let it all burn."

I don't know if it was the 3-month drought of Who or the charm of Jenna-Louise Coleman, but this the special was my favorite episode of Who since early series 6. Great stuff.

Someone else who's only just got around to watching it after three days of putting shit loads of sodding Playmobile together, and yep, I enjoyed it.

And I'm a little bit in love with Jenna Louise-Coleman.

    Oh my, yes.

And I'm sure she'd be thrilled to learn she has two 40-odd-year-old fathers of two fighting over her on the Internet.

I just assumed that was all the guy had time for.

It's the Sontaran Christmas Carols (one of the BBC advents for the Christmas Special).

and half the time, embedding is disabled by request, so I stopped bothering with it, but here it is:

Did anyone hear anything more about the Hollywood Doctor Who film in the works? Will it be canon like the 96 film or its own thing like the Peter Cushing films?

would be nice for him to have an on screen part as well.
