character deaths still sell as hot as ever.
I thought fans got too wise over the shock value of countless character deaths to buy multiple copies, but apparently i was wrong.
What are the odds of Ultimate Spidey coming back from the dead? The same odds as everyone in the universe 616.
And this right here is why I support the DB reboot even if I do not agree with the details. The top selling non-event non-gimmick comic only sells 64k, with 58k being the runner-up. Comics are in such a bad place that something had to be done to get new readers.

Looks like Ghost Rider is going to be retroactively turned into a miniseries.
Marvel 7 of the top 10, this seems like a monthly occurence now. Seeing these numbers month after month I now know why DC is doing their desperate Reboot/Relaunch/Retcon.

wow, it wasn't that long ago that the entire top 10 would be at or near 100k ~ so has the market really shrunk 40% in the last 2 years?
