And this right here is why I support the DB reboot even if I do not agree with the details. The top selling non-event non-gimmick comic only sells 64k, with 58k being the runner-up. Comics are in such a bad place that something had to be done to get new readers.

Marvel 7 of the top 10, this seems like a monthly occurence now. Seeing these numbers month after month I now know why DC is doing their desperate Reboot/Relaunch/Retcon.

It's definitely a lot less likely than you think. They've yet to undo Ultimatum and instead have proceeded with replacing characters just as they are with USM. The new book would have to bomb royally for them to ever go back. Originally Posted by stelok

I look at the declining sales in everything and can't help but feel sad about the shrinking industry. Take the event books and the USM book out and it's probably one of the worst months in years. Not one ongoing is selling in the 100K range. Originally Posted by SpideyCzar

wow, it wasn't that long ago that the entire top 10 would be at or near 100k ~ so has the market really shrunk 40% in the last 2 years?
