I was not aware of any particularly Wildstorm-shaped holes in the DC line, but whatever. For the Q&A portion of the panel, a large line formed as eager fans gathered to ask Lee a question. The first was about Lee's Wildstorm Universe and its integration into the DC Universe. "That was the plan all along," Lee said. "The Wildstorm characters fill a hole in the DC line, in terms of story and character. I am happy to see them return."
And I guess I do like WW's pants better in dark blue rather than this black.
I rent-to-own the night.
Oh, I definitely think that the Wildstorm characters are needed. Too many Legacy heroes in DC for one thing. Also, some edgier characters are needed. Wildstorm adds this diversity.
“I've always wanted to diversify the DCU, but usually when I do it, James Robinson comes along and kills them all.“ -Grant Morrison
That Cyborg outfit looks like something from Tony Stark's garage sale.
"The real reason is it's a lot easier to draw a costume that changes all the time."
So laziness? Good one Lee.
Hobos frighten me. It's time my enemies shared my dread.
im big jim lee fan. I look forward to his JLA and hopefully more all-star batman.
I saw Lee at 2 panels at Comic Con and I have to admit, he's really funny. At the first panel I saw of him, he was especially funny. Not so much the 2nd panel I saw of him, b/c even he admitted he recycled his material!
But hey, the key to comedy is repetition...
Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.

It's Neal Adams not Neil.
Yes I think WS def fills a need.
Who says that the star of every comic has to be a "hero". I'm sure the Grifter wouldn't refer to himself as a hero. Many, many, action-adventure movies have their her- ah... protagonists, kill. Die Hard comes to mind. John McClane had no problem killing. None. Was that movie awesome? You bet it was! So, just because a character doesn't have Batman's or Superman's moral code doesn't mean it can't be a good read.
Do I really have to say this? Folks still argue this point?

He then pointed out many of the different races that would be included in the new DC Universe, including Ryan Choi as the Atom.
Very interesting. He died in a really horrible way in the current DCU.
