Good news, but I can't afford the MotU-Classics line from MattyCollector ... or is this a new retail toyline by Mattel? I can't tell from the story.
I love the minicomics, and I've even reviewed a bunch of them here, so I'm thrilled to see the storyline continued!
Yes, it's a online only toyline. It's been going on since November 2008 and has no signs of stopping! Masters of the Universe Classics blends all of the characters in it's universes into one classic style! It has characters from the original MOTU toyline, Princess of Power, New Adventures, 2002 Masters of the Universe and all of it's cartoons!

What I really wanna see is a new He-man ongoing series.
Favorites: Fearless Defenders* New Avengers* Bloodshot* Shadowman* Archer & Armstrong
I'm kind of surprised no one is putting out an ongoing. He-Man has quite a lot of characters & history. You would think a talented writer would have plenty of material to work with.
Pull List: Transformers, Green Lantern, Batman Inc, Justice League, East of West and Deathmatch.
I'll tell you what, I'm very tempted by that Zodak figure!
In regard to the mini comics, I often wonder if professionally done comics of that size could be sold super cheap. You know, like at a dollar store or something.
A company could just create a bunch of them for an end-cap display or something and see what happens.
I just want to know if this makes it more or less likely that we get more Colt Noble and the Megalords.
Thus do I write the first chapter of my new scripture. And the first verse is "Let it all burn."
PHOENIX INVICTUS!
Wish I could get on this but comics are just too expensive right now. I'm saving room in my pull list for whatever Valiant will come out with but I hope Seely's He-Man does well. Might check it out as back issues if prices are fair.

Joe Quesada's Years As Marvel Comics' Editor-In-Chief
or as I like to call it...
DARK REIGN!!!
Hopefully somehow Mattel can be convinced to put the mini comics also out in a regular print edition so ALL He-Man fans can read this story.
I hope that Val Staples was at least contacted at some point...
But good for Tim. Really nice seeing his name get out there amongst other companies more and more these days.
I did not see Battle Cat within this interview, which makes me worry that he may not be in his remake.![]()
There's no need to worry. Battle Cat is a TOY in the classics line! =)
Besides... he IS in the preview. In the very first panel, with the big fight-scene, He-man is riding atop him, and beating down on the bad guys.
The panel was just a bit too busy, so you missed him. He's in it, don't worry.
