Magneto goes bad, Jean comes back, the X-Men battle the Avengers, and the X-Men reunite. Which will relaunch Uncanny because it will a "signifcant change." Plus Xavier will take lead and return to his wheelchair.

Not in the one event the way the X-Office has been planning them. Each BIG plot gets an event to fit. You can guess which will be the first 2012 event.

The dark pheonix returns in the form of hope and starts going all darkest night on marvel. and Jean comes back with the Pheonix corpe and shizzle ensues

1. She is staying dead for quite a bit cause nobody can think of a way to bring her back that is important and I guess writes are afraid to do anything with her once she is back.

2. Mags goes bad - it will come but it doesn't deserve to be the event of the year. (probably just a mini series.)

3. X-men Reunite - Would be a major cop out and render schism a non read.

4. The Hope war - Probably this one, it has been hinted out for a while now and there has been a major attempt to build Hope into something special (has been a fail attempt but the effort is there). Who knows maybe Jean comes back in 2013 to end the war.

5. ....an original idea, that would be a major shock.

6. I would like Sage back already

probably Mojo's X-babies Versus The newly Awful Hellfire Club Junior. X-Men are caught in the middle, some major wallpaper classic X-Man dies, and everybody is continuously disappointed at what a stinker much of the X-line has become.

As for my X-event? The return of Bishop and Sage and the reformation of the X-treme team. They can hunt down Hope.

Iceman leads the X-Men and joins the Avengers(and the FF for good measure). Alternate reality Icemen start to invade the 616 universe. The Icemen wage war with each other until all the Icemen merge into one giant god-like Iceman who goes e-vil and completely insane. He kills everyone on earth and then recreates them in iceforms. Jean comes out of the White Hot Room all pissed off and starts to go Dark Phoenix on his ass. Instead they make sweet love that destroys the universe. Marvel goes out of business. The end.
