Story has been so far not much more than a build up for the inevitable Heroes vs. Villains climax, but i like how it's building up on the Justice Forever.

Good news regarding the interminable scheduling delays. I was beginning to wonder why I wasn't "waiting for the trade" on this. Great book!

I was just wondering if Millar was off in limbo somewhere. Between waiting for this and Superior #5 I've definitely been convinced that he's king of delays.

I'm convinced that some of these delays are orchestrated. Some of the delays for Kick-Ass vol1 seemed a little convenient - practically timed to the movie's release. And, you ask, why would he do that? Wouldn't it hurt sales? You'd think so, right? But these damned things tend to hit 2nd and 3rd printings when they do get released. Almost like he's making us anxious for the next issue, but not making us wait so long as to forget. Ah, well.... Gotta love a good conspiracy theory.

My only concerns is what the excuse is going to be this time. I can understand how Hitch would take it on the chin for Ultimates. His style is hyper-detailed and that stuff with the huge multi-page spread certainly hit Ultimates 2's release date. But JRJr? It was NICE of him to take the hit for Kick-Ass vol1's delays and say that it was because he was also working on the production art for the movie. However, the man's a dynamo. Like Bagely, he's got some of the fastest turnaround from script to pencils around. What's the blame now? No movie. Millar rips through a script faster than a fat girl through a bag of Funions. Blame the finishing penciler now? Hmmmmm...... Conspiracies..... Cue X-Files theme.

How do you people STILL not know?

JRJR drew 16 Amazing Spider-Man comics while drawing Kick-Ass vol 1. (My autobiography) During this volume, he's drawn about 10 Avengers comics. Easy answer.

And to the above, Millar is always late? He released 24 Ultimate Avengers comics in the last 2 years. And Superior is held up because Lenil has drawn 12 Ultimate Avengers comics in the last year. Yup. THINK people!
