I like Van Lente, but my main interest is in Jen. I'm a tradewaiter anyway, so I can wait to see if the story really is about her, and if it'll be satisfying (for me, of course). Thanks for the tips, anyway.

Someone else posted about that here, so I asked TradesJanitor when he lasted posted, and he couldn't give me a date. Or more precisely, he said that was top secret classified info for SHIELD level five clearance. Considering the length of time between the first and second volume, I think we've got a ways to go.

I did see this was coming out in January or February, though. And since I have very few of these titles, I'm verrry happy.

Great. I have them all, but I'm so gonna get this. Thought I was going to have to content myself with the final volume of Essential Defenders. In colour it'll be much better.

Q: Love to see the new Defenders series!!! I hope this is the ultimate chance! I loved specially the 80's New Defenders. Any chance to see Cloud or Candy Southern again?

TomB: Sorry, but boy I hope not. This is going to be a new series, not merely a retread of books from years gone by.

I don't think using these characters, or seeing them again makes the new book a retread, any more than having Thor, Cap, and Iron Man on the Avengers makes it a retread.

Great scene. Now, I'm definitly going to have to get the TPB of that (along with Youth in Revolt). So many great characters mostly stuck in limbo. Son of Satan, Gargoyle, Stingray, and is that Cloud? Any explanation given as how she's back? Blazing Skull is definitly Defenders material. Hope they give him a focus on the new series. IMHO, that's just a great character looking for a place where he can truely shine. Hope he gets it.
