I'm kind of interested in reading Vengenance in trades also, just for the Last Defenders, who I enjoyed in the previous mini-series.
Is anyone in the know as far as when/if there will be a Defenders Masterworks Vol. 3?
Someone else posted about that here, so I asked TradesJanitor when he lasted posted, and he couldn't give me a date. Or more precisely, he said that was top secret classified info for SHIELD level five clearance.Considering the length of time between the first and second volume, I think we've got a ways to go.
I did see this was coming out in January or February, though. And since I have very few of these titles, I'm verrry happy.

You know, I very much appreciate any creator or editor that takes the time to actual field questions from fans. But, there are days ...
I don't think using these characters, or seeing them again makes the new book a retread, any more than having Thor, Cap, and Iron Man on the Avengers makes it a retread.Originally Posted by Formspring

This is the double page spread, nerdgasm moment in Fear Itself: The Deep #4. If you haven't gotten it, I highly recommend it, and the whole mini-series. It was a new iteration on the Defenders and great fun.

Great scene. Now, I'm definitly going to have to get the TPB of that (along with Youth in Revolt). So many great characters mostly stuck in limbo. Son of Satan, Gargoyle, Stingray, and is that Cloud? Any explanation given as how she's back? Blazing Skull is definitly Defenders material. Hope they give him a focus on the new series. IMHO, that's just a great character looking for a place where he can truely shine. Hope he gets it.
Peace
Oh, that's Blazing Skull; I thought they gave Ghost Rider a lame costume.
Who or what are the little white glowing human shapes?
Those are the summoning agents of Strange's Belial's Beckoning spell. Yup, that's Cloud.
Johnny Storm was dead; who is this resurrected Johnny Storm?
"Here, hold my Annihilus…" Johnny Storm, Fantastic Four #601
