There's a few I don't recognize either, but I'll give it a go.

From the top left:

Manslaughter, Torpedo, unknown floating guy.
Nebulon, Cloud, Red Guardian?, Nightwing, Dr. Spectrum
Andromeda, Silver Surfer, Iron Fist, Dr. Strange, Namor, Red She Hulk, Dollar Bill

I'm not sure that's Red Guardian. She reminds me more of Thundra.
Next to her is the Squadron Supreme's version of Nighthawk.

I'd be cool with that! But Hellstrom is currently part of the Joe Casey's Last Defenders, and showing up in his Vengenance mini-series.

Was Thundra in the Defenders? Or did she fight them? Yeah, I wasn't sure of Red Guardian at all. She DOES have black hair, as seen here.




But apparently she was transformed into Starlight, who, if you squint, sort of looks like that woman on the cover. Sort of, if you think fire hair = blonde hair.

i feel like daimon hellstrom would be a bit redundant with strange....as much as i like him. moondragon would be amazing in this line-up and help betty even out the female dynamic. she's got the power to stand with the heavyweights.

Hmmm. Good point. I'm probably letting my liking for Hellstrom sway me.

Moondragon would be interesting, especially since they don't have a telepath. But I think she's sticking with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

For me Moondragon falls into the always interesting category, rather than a character I necessarily love. She's rarely predictable.

The preview is up for Fear Itself: The Deep #4, the final issue! Can't wait to see it, but I'm going to hate to see it end.

Yep! He got one of the Serpent's hammers in Fear Itself and is one of the Worthy. Namor called up the his old friend Dr. Strange to call up the Defenders to help him out when Attuma / Nekkrod took New Atlantis. It's been good fun!

I found out she's Tania Belinky aka Starlight, who was a Defender as Red Guardian.

The only female Dr. Spectrum is Alice Nugent who was a member of a new Squadron Sinister that fought the Thunderbolts, so if that's her I don't know what her Defenders connection is.
