Iceman and Monica is so joining the Avengers.
PLus that Defenders cover is dreadful. THank god it's written by Fraction so there's no way I'll have to tolerate such bad art.
And of course more marketing to replace any attempt at quality. Battle Scars with lots of one shots featuring characters which have had movies recently. The marketing machine enver stops does it.
At this point I just look at Marvel like i look at the guys who put out movies like Epic Movie, Disaster Movie etc.....

Cool teaser. My money is on Iceman and Photon joining the Avengers, BP joining New Avengers and Blade joining Secret Avengers.

Ive been glued to the net this weekedn waiting to see what Marvel are going to come up with to take on DC. Nothing, really nothing.
Cable Reborn and Fractions Defenders. I mean c'mon.
The rest is just rinse and repeat. Marvel are stuck in a pattern and have become completely predictable. Event, followed by aftermath branding followed by event followed by aftermath branding. It's really sodding tired now.
Film comes out, new number one fot the character, old book gets renamed to cash in on a secondary character.
DC does something with Batman Marvel follow.
Dc does something inovative. Marvel bitches it then six months later duplicate it. Rinse and repeat.
Orginal Graphic Novels
20 Page comics.
Brightest day style biweekly series.
Day and date digital
Expet a wide line relaunch next year sometime.
Oh and yeah looking forward to reading a book about a bunch of hammers.
"What Matt has built here is a book about the nature of heroism," Wacker said, saying the Defenders are tasked at taking on all the big threats from mystical threats to medical ones. "There's something about these characters, whether they're confronted by fury or evil, continue to put one foot in front of the other...and if you can put one foot in front of the other, you can live forever."
And what does that even mean.
We don't even know if that is for an Avengers drive. With the Avengers movie so close and based off what we have seen them do, I'd bet anything we have a more classic Avengers by then.
I cannot stand the thought of anymore X-Men being an Avenger. Beast was cool because it brought a bridge between the two teams but Wolverine just felt weird. Storm or Iceman...no, just no.
