Yeah Johns established that in BD.

I hope the trident does some magic or something. Also want to see Aqualad (Jackson) and Aquagirl (Lorena).

And I love how Johns is using all the standard Aquaman jokes for the randoms.

Oh, that's easily the best part of the preview.

I love how they're saving all the scenes where Aquaman meets The Trench for later. So much comic book goodness coming, I can't stand it!

No he's not bulletproof but he should be Golden Age superman power levels.

Is Ivan Reis the best artist in the industry right now? Every single comic I've ever seen him draw (Green Lantern, Brightest Day, Blackest Night) has been absolutely stunning and full of amazing detail. This looks absolutely brilliant.
