Looks great. Seems a little Dark Knight/Nolan inspired too.
Yes. Yes. Yes!
I am so excited for this. After Andrew Garfield was announced as Spider-Man, I've gone back and watched a few of his films. He's blown me away in every one.
I don't mind that he's a little "emo." He lost his parents at a young age and he's frequently bullied at school. He's socially awkward and detached.
Other than the first person view of Spider-Man swinging, nothing was remotely exciting about the trailer......
Why does Sally Field look like such a wreck? Aunt May might not be my favorite character, but it isn't because she's a slob, for cryin' out loud.
Really didn't want to see the origin again, especially not Twilighted up like that.
That looks great. Looks like his parents' secret agent past will be woven into the framework, which I like. But I thought Julianne Nicholson was playing Pete's mom. The brief glimpse we got didn't look like her at all.
Another origin film is going to be a yawner. Still, love Andrew Garfield, so hopefully it'll do well enough.
Awesome!![]()
That's just Andrew's hair. Seriously, Google the guy and you'll see his big hair in every damn picture.
I'd also say the dark visual tone is more in line with The Dark Knight than Twilight. Twilight's colors weren't dark so much as they looked washed out (probably due to Alaska being so damn overcast).
I don't really care whether it's an origin or not. I've sat through heroes origins many times throughout my life as a fan of the comic books. I know it, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy another retelling.
