DC Comics has provided CBR with an [em]exclusive[/em] first look at the covers for August's "Green Lantern Corps" #63, the final issue of the series before the DCU's September relaunch.

Interesting. I like both covers a lot, but I don't see why it took so long for the covers to come out (or at least the first one).

That's exactly what I said. lol It's one of the things that makes me feel that DC didn't let all of their people know about the supposedly long planned September relaunch because looking at interviews and solicits from before the announcement, there were a lot that suggested longer termed plans and outcomes, etc. I'm not sure if this solicit came before or after the announcement but even still, the only thing I can imagine them finding is the final page of Flashpoint #5!

That is a great cover to end the best Green Lantern title with the rightful leaders of the Green Lanterns Corps; Ganthet, Kyle Rayner and John Stewart and even Salak is there. :) Also sweet variant.
