    >>>initial First Comics titles will be made available to retailers in November, and that First Comics will be directly marketing to comic book stores rather than go through distributors.<<<

That's been tried several times, and it has never ever ever EVER worked to support a valid publishing operation.

E-Man was the very first non-Marvel and DC comic I ever bought, and I remember seeing the original ad in there for American Flagg. It'd be cool to see First Comics back in the shops...
Always remember this stuff isn't real.

Why they even think it would boggles my mind.

To survive you HAVE to go through Diamond. Sorry First Comics!
Comics still reading: Saga, Sixth Gun, Walking Dead, All New X-Men, Daredevil, Fury MAX. DC New 52 isn't the worth the paper its printed on...

    Huh. Avoiding Diamond, are they?

They're going to need a book bigger than E-Man and Badger (not that I don't love both titles) if they think they can make that work.

Don't get me wrong. I would love to see the Diamond semi-monopoly broken, I just don't think First Comics can do it.

Looking forward to more Badger. Mike Baron really is an unheralded writer.

And that's a shame considering how much retailers complain about the current distribution system.
