This book is weird. never read starman so i hope this can be a nice stating point. Also if this books exists means that starman happened which is turn means that the JSA existed.
This interview was most frustrating because it ignored the enormous elephant in the room. If Starman history is intact, does that mean Superman is NOT the first superhero in the DCnU? Or is this miniseries happening on another earth? I'm sure Robinson couldn't answer this question, but it's frustrating to not have this even addressed.
If I were a new reader I gotta say that I wouldn't give this book a first chance based on the solicitation. It's not really enough information to get me interested.
Very good news to hear that this is coming to life, at last.
And it's always comforting to hear that 6 issues of a 12 issue series (and not even the 1st 6 - Cooke and Thompson's issues) are already done. No delays here.
I think Robinson hitted the right button about some successful characters pushed in on-goings too fast.
I heard a lot about this character (haven't read STARMAN) but there are maybe too many Shades is the DCU and I'd prefer the Ditko' one being the one who sticks..

Robinson said that was pretty much the only thing he had to change.
The solicits though did mention the Starman Museum, and DC have said that people with superpowers have operated BEFORE superman, but were viewed with distrusts, so maybe it's semantics?

Interesting interview. The only other thing I wish the interview mentioned if there are any other DC projects that James is writing.
I keep mistaking this character with Shade the Changing Man on a name basis only.
