okay, so while I don't think I'm feeling a miniseries about the Penguin, I have to say Capullo's cover for Batman #2 looks really good. Don't see how people can hate on him with stuff like that, to be honest.

Capullo's art is slowly starting to win me over. I may have to put Batman on the pull list come September. A 3-page preview may convert me completely.
Action, Animal Man, Aquaman, Batman + Incorporated + B&R, Dial H, Earth 2, Flash, Frankenstein, GL + GLC, Justice League, Swamp Thing, Wonder Woman
The Boys
I love the detail of the man at the door below. Can't really say im that bothered about a Penguin book but still fills me with hope other characters will get the same limited ongoing treatment.
Owl Skull? Well Owls are natural predators towards Bats, hence evil-Batman is usually the Owlman.
Consider this my response to the Penguin book
Unexpected.
The Penguin mini--eh, it could go either way.
The Batman #2 cover--you can never go wrong with Batman jumping a motorcycle so that he can punch a dude in the face on a helicopter.![]()
The penguin cover.
Nice to see some names I don't recognize, even if it is for a Penguin miniseries.
Is there literally anyone excited about reading a mini about the origin of the Penguin? I was not aware that it took 5 issues to tell the tale of how he came to be a Gotham mobster.
I have to say I've never been the biggest Batman (Bruce Wanye) fan, but the cover image and issue details look awesome and intriguing, respectively. The cover for Batman #2 has an almost 'old-school' vibe, in that the cover itself is trying to tell a story, rather than just grab attention.

Love the energy coming from the Batman #2 cover.
