He was downright competent in Mutant X. Maybe he'll get his memories back.

Havok and Polaris are both orphans and they were both adopted but neither one seems close to their adoptive families. Offhand, Beak and his wife are the only X-Men who have had anything close to a "normal" family situation (no countless children over two hundred years, no time travel, etc.)

I think it depends on how things work out in X-Factor. I get the feeling they won't part amicably. It might be something of a hot topic that he'd rather avoid.

I'm thinking this as well, and it would be a rather convenient way of not mentioning Polaris from there on out and barring her appearances there.
