Hi guys, I am an amateur, and these are drawings I have drawn over the years. Please note that they are all incomplete. I would start drawing, and then stop and would never go back to finishing what I had started. I have rarely posted my drawings and shared them with a few.

I'm suprised that PAD is considering splitting Havok and Polaris up and there's been no comments for the posters who really hate the relationship.

If he does it, and does it in a way that allows Lorna to come away from it respectably, then I'll have more respect for Peter David. I'm glad he seems to understand that the treatment of their relationship for most of their past has been very poor and needs to be seriously reworked into something that doesn't suck. I've said before that I don't particularly hate the idea of them together, just how it's always leading to her getting treated poorly and her character potential wasted by people who refuse to see the good in her. If her potential can be realized while in a relationship with Havok, especially her backstory and her ties to the Magnus family, then I can accept her paired with Havok.

And I won't lie. I'm currently holding it against the X-Factor books that Lorna is getting left out of Avengers vs X-Men for absolutely no good reason. That heavily damages my opinion of her being on X-Factor, since a golden opportunity for the character has been completely wasted because of some poor idea that X-Factor has to be its own tiny island that doesn't interact with the rest of the X-Men world. If she got to be in Avengers vs X-Men like she deserves, I would see her being on X-Factor in a more positive light.

I think that sums up what I liked and didn't like about the space epic. I think overall, Lorna was written well, but the story itself felt like it jumped around a bit.

Great summaries Mitteloss. I really do think WoK was the high point of the space arc. With a few tweaks to issues 4-6 it could have gotten a high A in my view.

Lorna looks like such a good woman in these previews. Smelling flowers, low cut top and her supporting approach around Alex.

Certainly quite reminiscent of another scene in WATXM with Lorna and roses.



Oh and this is her headgear done right. There are a few ways to do it right, but her current one is a mess.

I think you make a very good point here, no writers are 100% infallible. There are always going to be times they do things poorly or bad, no matter how good they are.

Up to now, I give some slack to a creator if something they make turns out bad, but they had entirely good intentions and try to set things right if the situation calls for it. I only really get spiteful of specific people if they do something bad on purpose or let mistakes linger because they don't have enough respect for something to set things right.

Awesome drawings! I love her purple costume during Austen's run. You draw much better than I do haha.
