Tom B said on forumsprings he hasn't watched Wolverine and the X-Men yet. TAS and X-Men Evo he has seen. Perhaps I should buy the DVD and send it too him as a Christmas present. Seriously, it might show him the potental for Lorna interacting with Wanda without taking away from Wanda as a character.

Its the only idea that I can come up with that might show him that Lorna and Wanda can exist in the same universe as Magneto's daughters and interact with their interaction adding to Wanda's character instead of taking anything away from her.

But, in all honesty I think we all know Wanda and Pietro interaction with Lorna are off the cards in the 616 for the foreseeable future. I just wonder if her moving over to X-Factor means the same regarding interaction with Magneto. Magneto is going to be crossing over with Legacy in 2012, but who knows about X-Factor.

Besides I do actually remember him specifically stating the breeding through thing about Polaris as well, months ago.

Saying that the breeding through thing isn't he case. Polaris' has her additional hair mutation, seeing waves of magnetic energy(don't think Magneto can do that) and her dormant negativity powers. So she doesn't have a duplicate mutation to Magneto. Neither does Siryn she has her additional persuasion powers that Magneto doesn't.
When it comes to how he really doesn't have to answer fan questions at all, my view is that if he's talking about professional issues and can't respond in a professional manner, then he may as well not answer them at all. Sometimes complete silence is better than saying anything.

I view it as a lack of professionalism rather than a sign that it'll take some time for people to come around.

That he doesn't like Magneto and Polaris as father and daughter isn't really the issue here for me. It's just the thing that caused the issue, and holds more personal weight for me as a fan of Lorna. The real issue here is that it seems Brevoort is so wrapped up in his personal bias that it supersedes being professional enough to be honest about his reason for hating the relationship, or (regarding mutant genetics) to admit he's wrong on something or needs to put more thought into it. He's an editor. I expect him to care enough about the world he partly edits to not pull this crap of trying to weasel out of a real, respectable answer. If he can't care enough to do that much, then there's no reason for me to expect much from him as an editor, given he clearly puts that same attitude and thought process into his editorial work.

I'll shut up about Brevoort now after this post, but again, this isn't really about what he thinks of Lorna and Magneto as family. It's about how he treats the material as an editor and professional when responding to these questions. He could be talking about Wolverine and X-23 and I'd say the exact same things.

Missing the Pietro/Lorna banter. Its been a long time (over a decade) since we had any decient banter between the two of them.

The closest we had was in the HoM universe thanks to Chris Gage.

Thanks for another scan lol! I love Pietro's remark to Lorna

Its too bad Pietro didn't rejoin X-Factor. Then we could have really seen Lorna interacting with her family (as Magneto and Wanda won't be around I'm sure)

The Avengers franchise yanked him away from PAD after Quick and the Dead in 2009, I don't expect they will offer him back any time soon. It seems only A list characters that are not Avengers are allowed to be on the Avengers and x-books at the same time.

Its from UXM Annual 17. In that issue Mastermind uses his illusions to trap the X-Men (or Jean, Iceman, and Bishop) in their own worlds. Polaris is shown to be part of Iceman's X-Men team (Iceman is sort of the Professor X of his world). Ultimately Jean realizes the truth and rescues her teammates by destroying the illusions. Polaris is given a very gruesome end when Jean splits her apart telekinetically.
