Sounds a little like Irredeemable from Plutonian's perspective. not bad.
I would read it. I'm trying to guess what country The Greats are from. From left to right: Asia, Europe, Australia, Africa, South America, North America

In war the elders may give the orders, but it's the young who have to fight.
I'm completely enthusiastic about this. I hope it shows the s****y, wayward, conniving, egotistical, fearful people of Earth getting everything they deserve. If we allow meatheads to run us and fleece us, and don't look for the good in others and in ourselves, then we merit whatever happens to us. This comic won't teach anybody any life lessons, but it may be good, vicious, fantasy fun.
Why are there so many good Image Comics out now? My poor wallet.
Sounds similar to Irredeemable and ugh, using 9/11 is, beyond all other issues, just plain lazy.
It could be a solid series, Fialkov is building steam, but this does not entice me.
really stoked about this!
Love Image!!
First I've heard of this story and it sounds great. Anyword on how long this is expected to go. Is it an ongoing that could last forever or is it a set 25 issues or something like that?
Thanks for all the kind words. I really think you folks are going to like what we have in store for you.
As long as the book sells, it is planned to be an ongoing series.
So, when the book hits previews in august, make sure you go to your local store and ask them to order it. then go buy it and read it and enjoy it.

I read the first issue the other day and really enjoyed it. Both the art and story rocked imo! Can't wait for more!
So is anyone else reading this? The thread sort of died.
I gave issue 2 a shot, but it also left me shaken. There was a really good scene with a little kid. It was great, but then the story dropped all the emotional weight that scene held.
I'd like to ask Fialkov what he was going for in that scene; what he wanted us to learn about the Last. I'm confused and unsure about the character and now the story itself.
