i have a question about conan vol 6: the hand of nergal. does this volume have the same colorist as volume 5 (isamove, or something like that)? if it is, i want nothing to do with it. it was distracting from the art and looked like it was done in ms paint. it took me out of the story on several occasions. did anyone else feel this way or am i just being a curmudgeon?
SPACE FOR RENT!
As someone who's just recently started to get into Conan, I think his stories come off better than they are separate miniseries instead of ongoings.
Empty winds scrape on the soul never stop to realize/Animal whisperings intoxicate the night
Hypnotize the desperate slow motionlight/Wash away into the rain
Blood, milk and sky....
I have to say, #2 of Wood's run on Conan was one of the best Conan comic I have read in years. I know it's a little early to sya this but I think Brian W. can be named as one of the best Conan writer with Truman and Busiek. I'm so happy Conan the barbarian is again a comic I am excited to get each month.
I just finished the first Conan volume (Busiek/Nord), The Frost Giant's Daughter - and needless to say, I loved it. Now obviously I want the rest of this series, all of it, in HC editions. And that's just the problem. I've tried to locate a copy of vol. 2 -The God in the Bowl- but cannot find an affordable copy anywhere. Maybe someone here can point me in the right direction?
THANKS!

sorry, i dont know, maybe they will put out a Busiek Conan HC oversize omnibus one day.
KING CONAN: THE PHOENIX ON THE SWORD #4 ships this week! Can't wait, the art is totally old school.

I love the James Harren Conan The Barbarian comics. It appeals to the fan in me of the old cartoon Conan The Adventurer. I'm enjoying them and I look forward to continuing to read this series. It'd be cool if Cartoon Network ordered a new Conan The Barbarian cartoon to air in sync with their old school revival that's going with ThunderCats.
