Good read, thanks for the link.
These guys all sound like they know exactly what they're doing and how to make these titles the best they can possibly be. I was already interested in "Demon Knights" and "I, Vampire" primarily, but now I'm thinking I might be needing to pick up all of these 'DC Dark' launches.
Looks like they'll all be great reads. Looking forward to this relaunch even more now.
"With "I, Vampire" there is a huge audience of people"
Sure & once you've finished writing those first 4 issues, maybe you can invent a time machine to go back to the middle of last year, before every man and his dog flooded the market with vampire fiction, rendering anyone except the most hardcore twihards interest level to zero.
I mean seriously the only way DC could be any more out of touch with there market audience is if the got Rob Liefeld to draw a Hawk & Dove series, in some vain attempt to mimic Image circe 1994.

Oh! Really? Are you sure? Thats just sad. Well that explains why the rapture was moved to October of this year.
Though things seem to be a little hit and miss on the Superhero front I'm tremediously excited for the Dark line up. It's the thing that's going to leave nothing but a moth in my wallet come September.
Swamp Thing, Animal Man and JLD are must buys. Demon Knights and Frankenstein both look very interesting. The only one I'm not really behind is I, Vampire, but I'll keep on an eye on the reviews. The last few years of Tween Vamps has left a bad taste in my mouth for bloodsuckers.
Also love the new Animal Man costume. It's pretty clear that they're really pushing the Horror in this title which I something we never really got from the Grant Morrison run, or at least not much. Never thought I'd want to see a Superhero title in greyscale but this seems to be one to do it with.
Also I'm liking that they're really connecting these books together, I especially hope to see a lot of Animal Man and Swamp Thing cross over with how their power sources interlink (I imagine this has happened before but I haven't read an instant where it has)
I will say though I'm curious to see how their going to bring a lot of Horror into both these titles. Both characters are very powerful at this point. Swamp Thing for me stopped being a Horror comic near the end of Alan Moore's run onwards partly because of how god like Swampy was by then. Animal Man isn't constricted by distance to animals and post 52 he can tap the power from any creature from any world, like Star Eaters. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well cornell pretty much confirmed that demon knights will spin into stromwatch.
as a worshipper of the pre-Vertigo era, I'm absolutely thrilled by this DC Dark Line. I had reserves with I, VAMPIRE ( hoped for Delano + Jock) but the writer' last interview hooked me, and with this exclusive-art preview, I'm definitely on board now.

I can't wait to read these titles! :D
The one that I'm more looking forward to the most is Animal Man.
I'm very much into Demon Knights and I, Vampire - and now getting interested in Frankenstein, too.
Dark looks good.
Anyone who thinks DC is bringing back the Silver Age doesn't know what the Silver Age is.
There is no such word as "persay," it's per se, two words, from the Latin.
This interview just solidifies why the "Dark" imprint was the most impressive part of the relaunch announcements-- good writers with vision who know the characters that they're working with.
The Dark line sounds great. I don't plan on getting everything but Frankenstein, Swamp Thing and Demon Knights are at the top of my list.
lol, I love group interviews.Fialkov: And I'd add that each one of us is probably known for our crazy last pages, which is funny when you think about it, but at the same time... if you don't have a crazy last page, what are you coming back for next month?
Cornell: I've got the craziest last page at the end of issue #1 in the history of crazy last pages. What have you got?
Fialkov: I can't tell you. You'll just start crying and going, "I'm going back to TV. Screw this! I can't even compete!" It'll be sad for you that day.
The I, Vampire art looks really good. That got upgraded to a "try the first issue" for me.
Yeah, I'm pretty much onboard for all of these, straight to series until they get cancelled or lose my interest.
There's no sense in nonsense when the heat's hot.
Can't say I, Vampire grabs me, though the art does look spiffy.
Demon Knights, Frankenstein, Swampy, Animal Man, and Justice League Dark are all must-haves for me, though.
This is by far the best group DC's put out in the relaunch. As a huge old school Vertigo fan, the Dark line alone pretty much makes the entire relaunch worth it to me.
